Ai doesn't have the ability to reason or understand
It finds a pattern and finds information that might be close but it doesn't reason

If can't draw many people can and have been making fantastic kink art since forever
No one is born inherently talented, it's a pursed interest

It really is annoying.
I remember a time before generative AI. Yeah, there was a lot of shitty erotica out there. Poorly written stories and bad art. But, inevitably, those people would get better over time. Some of them even became good.
Don't see that with the generative AI crowd. They spit out things that are aggressively mid at best and hard to look at at worst. But for all the talk of generative AI being a tool, I don't see any of them getting better. They stay the same.
This isn't the same as the traditional vs digital debate. Whether or not you like digital art, you can't deny that digital artists aren't putting in the same effort traditional artists use. If you follow a digital artist over the course of their career, they get better. If they really dedicate themselves to their craft, they create really impressive things.
Do you know what the AI peeps do to improve? Fiddle with prompts and manually edit.
Not going to knock editors. That is a skill on it's own, but you are confined to whatever the machine spits out. You don't get to experiment and spread your wings very much.
Generative AI is not an artistic tool. It was never meant to be an artistic tool. There are AI tools for artists out there, but that is completely different from letting the machine make you a picture.
