I wanted to start a thread to put other tips on how to eat that didn't have anything to do with heavy cream or wg/cake shakes.

I am going to start with one I am surprised doesn't get mentioned more often: modify everything.

If you can put cheese on it, get cheese.
Get the guac on that burrito.
Extra shots in the coffee drink
Sprinkles and chocolate syrup on ice cream.

This one is said a lot but makes a world of difference.

Variety! Even tho you can still feel hungry, your appetite can get bored of what are eating. A great way to avoid this is say you buy a pizza, get wings or pasta and definitely a dessert along with it.

Stir fry is great! My partner has put on a ton of weight and I attribute a lot of it to soda and the crazy variety and quantity of stir fry that we make. Plus it's a fun thing to make with a partner if you've got one smiley

Stir fry can be fattening if you eat it with a lot of rice, and despite the stereotype that Asian food is healthy and low-calorie, they use a shocking amount of sugar in some of their sauces.

Eating in between meals always does it for me. Those unnecessary but enjoyable calories can really add up.
