Hi all,

We are currently looking to revamp the look and feel of the website with a new color scheme, layout, font and logo...

This is a very very basic mock up... as you can tell with things not being quite in line and backgrounds not filled in around texts...

However we would love your opinion about this new look! This is not the finished article by any means but it is a big change to what we have currently... We have tried to go for a more modern look, with bright bold fun colors.

Let us know what you think! What do you like about it, what do you not like, how do you feel about the dark background, how do you think it compares with the current look etc...

I do find the dark colors much better cos it makes the text and the pics pop more. And I like the layout as well.

Agreed that it is a more current look. I have no issues with the current layout/look, but I can imagine that to new comers it may make the site look dated.

This are really good comments. I also find the pink theme makes the site stand out.

The mix of genders is also important, a casual look would lead you to the impression that either it was a female only site or maybe a porno site. The words say community but the pics along with the stark red-black theme say otherwise.
Neither one is a good first impression for an online community.

The design revamp is nice. I'd suggest a demo site though, because judging UX by pictures is really a bit hard.

Also, I'd like to take the opportunity to point out, that there are many functional and technology issues with the site, that IMHO are far more pressing than the rather old fashioned design. (Thinks like chat freezes, private chat leaks etc)

For those I'd suggest a public response channel where all of those problems can be reported and everybody can see the progress.

We know that the team is small (I still volunteer to help!), so if every user would be aware of those "known issues" and see just a LITTLE progress, it would put our minds at ease.

I’ll miss the pink but I like the new design XD

Imagine opening this site on your phone and not expecting all the pictures, then anyone who can even glimpse at your screen knows what you're looking at.

A redesign is needed, but I think some discretion should be kept in mind if you're going to try and make it for a mobile set up.

Sometimes less is more. All the advertising pictures a bit of a waste of space because everyone who comes here already knows why in the first place.

Join our Fat Positive community. Sure, that's good in theory but it feels like trying to copy feabie a bit much. They did the same thing. Started out for fetishist people, then switched their approach making it "fat positive"

I think a pure fetish site still has a place on the internet. Fat positive implies that it's more of a safe space for fat rather than what it was intended.

BBW who show up thinking one thing will be in for a surprise when they are swarmed in chat by the horde of feeders looking for something else.

Not everyone sees Feederism as "Fat positive" behavior.

I like the current pink/purple design but I don't mind if you change it.

Pay attention to put BBW and BHM pictures please so that everyone can feel concerned.
