Gaining

Today I read about a snack of deep-fried butter. It's apparently popular at certain county fairs in Iowa.

The recipe consists of entire butter sticks coated in honey syrup and breading, then deep-fried.

This sounds amazing for fattening.

Has anyone here tried it?

I'm not entirely sure - it's been awhile since the last time I went - but I *think* the Illinois State Fair has them.

Sounds gross to me though, lol

Honestly my feelings for deep fried butter can be summed up by a Jim Gaffigan quote

"This can be either really good or totally nasty. But I'm just enough of a pig to find out!"
