Maybe take things slower with new people until they actually demonstrate more of the consistency and communication that you want and deserve with their ACTIONS and not just their words.

TBH, I can ghost if it's clear there is a total disconnect between what I want versus what the other person wants. Like, for instance, I like a friendship that may or may not develop into something else, rather than a guy or a girl opening up with wanting to feed me.
