Great idea, but make it longer and have Some different categories. I will make an intake form for M/v. En than see who gets the fattest.
Fattening up for being sold as price pig.
And report Every week how much fat the piggies gains whether is is bacon or ham, you are aming for.

There are more Hansels and pigs than witches/cannibals.
Soo there is a lot of prime meat on the market for Pig/Hansel (P/G) contest.

It is fair to have different categories. For ordinary P/H the criteria are just weight and amount of fat.
But prime meat and special cuts needs special attention to get the best result.
If you want to have your P/H fattened up before Thanksgiving or Christmas, you have to start now.
If you want to have a special kind of meet (A Hansel which will become Serrano Ham) you have to get muscle and fat. By september it should be clear wether P/H gets the big fat butt that’s needed. By November the P/H should be ready for the butcher. The ham has to be salted and dried before the festive season.

The P/H could start with fattening up. And have checked on a weekly basis whether they gained and wether their butt have grown bigger. By September an expert panel can choose the price pig in the different categories. The winners get a full report from chefs and food lovers with details on how to prepare the P/H. What kind of wine should be served with the main course and how to proceed with the fattening.

The expert panel wishes to see some pictures and/or video by September the 10th.
The P/H that loose will be sold at an auction to the highest bidders. Witches and other cannibals kan join the auction and buy/sell some prime meat for affordable prices.

There might be a shortage of good meat and that’s a pitty because the forum can offer a broad choice of piggies and Hansels who would love to fil the gap. Some are ready for the feast and have been waiting too long to have their fat and juicy meat to be processed and get where they belong. On the barbecue and on the plate.
There are of course some difficult issues to deal with. There is a surpluss of male meat and male meat can be a challenge in the kitchen. It seems to be the right moment to find out how many piggies and Hansels are availeble. Which ones are ready for market and which ones need additonal and specialised fattening up. I can't stop thinking about a scenario where I'm trapped by a sadistic farmer who wants to grow me into a fat juicy hog ready for the dinner table. I'd be kept in a pen too low to stand in so I wouldn't be able to walk around. My muscles would become like melted butter as I was fed all day long. A tube of shake would always be available to me and my trough would be filled three times a day with fresh greasy, sugary slop. At first I wouldn't want to eat everything but the appetite stimulates snuck in my food would eventually compel me to eat until I was unable to crawl. I would gain hundreds of pounds of blubber all over my body, looking more like a pig each hour. Daily I would be put on a scale and weighed, have my thick pork belly measured with calipers, and mercilessly teased for growing so patheticly, helplessly fat. There would always be the looming threat of the slaughterhouse once I got huge enough to be a perfect prized sow. Any feeders with fantasies like this?
