So i have to lose weight

Saw my doctor and a specialist. I’m insulin resistant and getting that gross dark dry skin. I have to lose weight. I wanna lose it while I’m still in my 30s so I can find a partner who is attractive still in their 20s. I’m 38. No more getting off on weight gain. I fear that if I wait too long then young 20s won’t be interested in me and generally I don’t find 30s and up attractive because they look too old and adult. So this weight loss has to be done quickly.

One of the first things you need to do, is learn what you're currently eating and doing for exercise (if any) to know your starting point. It's best to lower your daily calorie intake by 200-500cals.

Stop drinking sugary drinks first, pop/soda, fruit drinks, etc, and have lots of water. Black coffee (or very little in it) and tea is good, too.

If you do not exercise daily, a 30 min walk would be a good start. 👍

Your post has a lot of red flags. The doctor thing is fine but the "I only like young attractive partners and need to look hot for them" maybe isnt the way to go?

Yeah, I'm with Spike on this one. By all means, get your health in order. And there's nothing wrong with preferring younger men (I assume you prefer men due to your username). But everything else you've said comes off as extremely shallow.

What are you going to do if you get in a relationship with a 20-something and he gets older? Are you going to dump him because he no longer looks young?

How would you like it if a guy dumped you over your "gross dark dry skin"? That would hurt.

Basing everything on looks is indeed very shallow.
If you have to lose weight for health reasons by all means do so.

I like boys and girls I’m bisexual. Also I’m not so sure that I care about my health enough to make the effort to lose weight.

This, especially the drinks it's gonna feel like hell breaking that habit. Took me about 2 weeks till I started not having withdrawal like symptoms.

As for your comments about 20 somethings, you might want to fix your personality first.
