Does gaining make you hungrier?

Ferro1986:
This is why it’s so hard to stop/slow down once you really lean into this. I’m rarely fully satisfied by a normal meal but rarely can truly give in. Add to the fact that getting stuffed is a sexual release for me, it’s truly an addiction to keep eating more and more

Munchies:
So true. If you need/want to slow down or stop the gain train, you can't do it cold turkey. You can try, but it won't end well.

In my experience, it's best to do a step-down method. It can take about a month. So if you have a weight limit, it's good to start when you are getting close.

The first week, my feedee isn't allowed to get stuffed. He can eat as much as he likes, but he can't stuff himself. Easier said than done depending on how much you ate during your stuffing/gaining cycle.

The second week is about eating cleaner. You aren't worried about portion sizes at this point, but you are cutting out or reducing the trash you ate during your stuffing/gaining cycle. You should also make sure you are drinking plenty of water during this time too.

The third and fourth weeks should be dedicated to slowly reducing your portion sizes. If you've done everything correctly this part will not be as difficult.

It's also good to de-center feedism for your sexual release. Find additional ways to get off. That way, if and when you can't indulge yourself by stuffing your face, you can still get off.

NoMoYoYo:
This is where I struggle -trying to do it cold turkey. I will try this strategy...starting next week lol.

It's really hard to stop doing something you find extremely pleasurable. Some people can do it, but most can't. That's why it's better to wean yourself off of things.

Ain't that the truth. When I was eating healthy and lost weight I mostly stayed away from junk food because I know how pleasurable it can be. Along comes summer and a little bit turned into a little bit more which turned into a lot more. It's so addicting.

It's all about finding that balance. Eat the junk food, but don't give up the healthy food. Have you ever spoke to a person on an all junk food diet? They're not doing so hot.

They can't think straight. Their emotions are all over the place. They barely function and often abandon things that used to make them happy. And they often experience health issues at much lower weights. It's really sad to see when they have all these issues and they don't even weight 180 lbs.

I can understand that. I do eat a fairly balanced diet. Well maybe not totally balanced, but I do eat fruits and vegetables. Yesterday I had one of those bagged salads which was over 650 calories. When I'm in gaining I still have those, but I add a lot of junk. And to be honest I've had minimal issues at the doctors other than the normal needling about my weight...wonder what he would have said at my highest? My highest recorded there was about 15lbs less.

Honestly, if all your doctor can say to you is "You're fat. You should lose weight," you're not doing too bad in life. But I encourage you to do weight training if you aren't already doing it.

I recommend this to everyone, but especially older people. I've worked in the healthcare industry for many years. The biggest thing I hear from older people - especially overweight and obese older people - is that the knees are the first thing to go.

The last thing I want for people is to lose weight because their joints can't take it.

I'll admit I haven't done much exercise at all since starting this gain. I go on short walks and took my kids swimming twice but thats about it. I haven't touched a weight or other strength training since the beginning of July.

But if I am on my way to my 275 goal, I probably should start again.

I would get back into it. Depending on how you go about things, you won't lose weight by exercising. If anything, it will allow you to be more comfortable as you gain weight.

As I've mentioned in other topics, I love how soft this gain has been. I want to gain even more softness. In my belly, in my chest. I want to be squishy and jiggly. Could strength training affect that?

Unless you are putting in the work to make serious muscle gains, it will not. If anything, it will help you in your goal to be squishy.

Your body burns visceral fat (the hard fat surrounding your organs) before it burns subcutaneous fat (the squishy fat under your skin). So if you do light-to moderate strength training and cardio, it will help you to be softer than if you didn't exercise at all. You just have to keep up your calorie intake.

Ahh interesting. Well, I'm sure the calories won't be a problem. I eat a lot lol. I am going to try the month-long weaning you wrote about cause I need to slow down. I have some of my old bigger clothes, but I had to buy a bit more so I'm not wearing the same three or four things.
