When you eat a lot, your stomach stretches to accommodate it all. It takes some time for it to shrink back to its normal size. The more you stretch it, the hungrier you are afterward.
The best way to get fat quickly is exactly this - stuff everyday to stretch your stomach and eventually you will be needing 2-3 times as much food to make you full, until the point where you never really seem to get full and just continually eat all the time.
