Curiosity, what are the main implications when it comes to gaining on Margarine vs butter?
From what I know (and I could be wrong) butter is generally better for gaining as it is a higher fat content and made with actual cream. Further, Margarine (I may be wrong) is usually higher in Saturated fats, which work, but ultimately put a bigger strain on your heart/liver as time goes on.
What am i missing? Where is my info wrong?
Margarine is made of hydrogenated fat. Ironically, it's worse for you than butter seeing that it was made to be a healthier alternative.
