Advice for gaining

Hi, I’m 5’10”. When I was 25, I weighed 130 pounds. Skinny by most accounts for an American male. I always thought, even when I was in grade school, that I wanted to be fat. Even had a dream back then that I weighed 365 pounds. I had hoped I’d marry someone who would fatten me up. Never happened. Pressure from family and friends kept me from eating what I wanted. Fast forward 30 years, my weight gradually went up to about 190. I was still thin or athletic but struggled with controlling my appetite. Often starved myself to keep weight down. Then seven years ago, a friend told me that I was miserable not eating as much as I want. She said to trust her and spend a few days eating what I wanted. I did and loved it. Over the next three months I ate everything. I gained about 40 pounds. Then things leveled off, but over time have continued to gain a few pounds every year. Now, I’m up to 290. I know my gain is impressive, but it feels like it’s not enough. Any recommendations on increasing my gains?

Sounds like you’re growing at a pretty reasonable rate I don’t the time line or how long it took you to each 290 but I’d just keep up with what your doing maybe increase your portions a bit sounds like you got a pretty big appetite already so that’s a plus

I went from 190 to about 235 in late 2017. So, the remaining 55 to 60 pounds came since early 2018. I guess I've been on the right path, just getting impatient as I see that 300 number looming. Thanks.
