Obesity as a test?

I was pretty slow to hit obesity, taking about 5 years from when I started dabbling with trying to gain. I found it easy enough to lose weight after, as long as you got the mental willpower. But I would warn you that your “normal” will shift and you may be more excited about getting bigger yet. In my mind, when I hit obesity, I wasn’t even that fat. I kept intentionally gaining, and I’m now hanging around a BMI of 34, and I’m usually one of the fatter guys in the room.

Hitting obesity was a fun milestone and a good one to start with. The only way I found myself continuing to unintentionally overshoot, was if I still kept up with the constant snacking and eating meals till I couldn’t eat more. It’s easy to get into that mentality when you have a couple back to back stuffing sessions.

For the underweight people who got fat

I used to be conscious of what people thought, It started with random stuffings, that never really got much for results, but then I started small with never letting there be leftovers. I started gaining weight, getting teased a little bit here and there and it didn't bother me as much as I thought, so then it progressed to double meals and sneaking meals, never shying away from a free snack. I also find it's crazy how after a few stuffings in a row, it's impossible to be satisfied with a regular portion. Now when people make a comment about my gain, it feels like recognition for something I've worked very hard on. It's very rewarding..

Melted icecream

I didn't do exclusively ice cream, I mixed it with heavy cream, and cake mix (and was funneling it as well). I feel like the scale didn't climb much because I was hiding that I was doing that so I was bad at doing it consistently, but that was probably when I grew stretch marks the fastest. The heavy cream really helped to tame the sweetness.

How do you know for sure if you want to gain beyond fantasy and in real life

It was a fantasy for a while for me too, but the thing that kept me off of it was money and the judgement I’d get. As I’ve gotten older, more people in general are fatter/I don’t care ans much about being judged and the money thing is really the only thing that holds me back. What’s left now is a cycle of “maintaining” and being really into noticing how I’ve gotten fatter that and that usually motivates me into a couple days of stuffing.

Outgrowing everything!

Been going through this myself as well since the weight has been starting to come on easier now. I think the really fun part is when you decide you can throw away the clothes that are too small because you won’t be that small again. I feel like clothes shopping is a good frame of reference of progress compared to normal people as well.

Yo-yo effect

I know it’s been mentioned on here they yo-yo effect, when you lose a little bit of weight, and then gain it back very fast, what are some results that y’all have seen? I just had my first experience with dropping about 12 lbs over the course of 2 months, and then when I switched back to gainer mode, I was up 7 lbs in one week. This was kind of a shock to me.

That one moment i knew i was getting really fat…🐷✨

It was probably when my belly started to shift from the nice ball shape to something that progressively got fatter the lower you go, and my love handles got a bit bigger. It was also when I went to the clothing store and found that I was picking from the largest sizes they had. I also noticed that people I previously thought were very fat didn’t seem that large to me anymore. Ie, thinking someone’s not that fat, only 250 lbs.

Is there a reason why you started to love fat?

My story is a bit different, I was honestly terrified of getting fat in middle school, it was early high school that I found that there was something inviting/mesmerizing about soft, jiggly fat. After I started to fixate on that, there was no going back.

What age did you start gaining?

I started trying with significant effort around 21 but it wasn’t until 22 that I started gaining about 30lbs, and then hit a plateau until I was 26, when I gained another 30 lbs.

What's the fattest thing you've ever done?

For me, I had a couple days back to back where I’d eat something at every restaurant I passed on the way home from work, ending the day with a cake mix/ice cream/heavy cream shake. Blended and funneled out of a mixer. That was euphoric.
