Problems with the reading function in stories?

Has anyone else found that after reading a few paragraphs, the reading skips back several paragraphs and starts again, as it were? It’s not fun…

Story reading ui

I would also find both the save-my-spot and history functions super useful. On the latter, I would find it useful both to avoid rereading things that didn’t do much for me, but also to find stories I *would* like to reread.

Editing with discretion

That sounds right to me, I won’t touch AI because I object to how LLMs are compiled and how authors are not compensated. I’m actually part of a class action suit in this regard.

But it seems to me quite possible to find someone here who would do one or two types of edits for you just for the advance reads.

How do you

Hi—
I’ve paid for the ‘fantasy’ membership, which I thought was supposed to include premium stories, but now there’s another level of subscription for “all our authors” or for individual creators?
I am at best confused.

Tips on low sugar snacks

All the different nuts and nut butters, though some of them can get pricey. But I like the variety.

You can make homemade nutella with whatever sugar substitute you're comfortable with--the recipes are all over the internet, and while not exactly the same thing, they're pretty good.

Some kinds of fruit are lower in sugar, like apples. Check a chart--they're a lovely alternative to a cracker as a carrier for cheese.

I do a lot of low sugar baking just by lowering the sugar content and then replacing half of it with a sugar substitute. Almost always works great.

There are some good sugar free chocolates around, although as someone else said, a lot of sugar free candies can give you real intestinal upset if you eat too many.

You can also make yourself shakes with cocoa powder,. hemp hearts or flax, some frozen fruit, and a sugar sub. Lots of recipes around.

Hope that helps!

I love bellies...except for my own. how do i change that?

Hi, I’m a lot older than most posters here, so at a different place in my journey. But I started figuring this out...slooooowly...in my late 20s and early 30s. Here are some suggestions:
1. Eat nutritiously, and congratulate yourself on the positive changes you’re making.
2. Stand naked in front of a mirror, and really spend time looking at the things you like, even if that’s just nails and chin.
3. Do a gratitude practice of some kind nightly.
4. Make lists of things you like about yourself. List everything, from kindness to animals, to being a good speller. EVERYTHING. Then make a few copies and post it around your house,
5. Give yourself a full on spa treatment: bath, exfoliation, lotion, and then spend time with the lotion, feeling how nice your soft round parts are.
6. Read some of the stories. Figure out which ones (if any) work for you, and imagine yourself as the heroine.
7. When you’re feeling a little more solid, post some pics here . It’s VERY nice to get lots of positive feedback, even if you have to bat back a few creeps.
Good luck in your recovery process, and well done for reaching out! ✨💐✨

Fat girl humiliation fantasy?

lizzyny:
I've always had this fantasy about going to a new doctor who turns out to be stunningly handsome. He's commenting about my weight and seems to disapprove of how fat I've become. But then decides to give me a stress test and begins to feed me eclairs...one after another. I'm getting so full and he keeps increasing the speed of the treadmill and feeds me faster.

By the end, I'm round and swollen with food. He's prodding my fat and measuring how big I'd become. He rubs my belly, pulls me onto a scale to weighs me and schedules a follow-up appointment.

Hey, Lizzy... mind if I borrow this one? It would never have crossed my mind, but it was quite, um, effective to read. Though your writing has always impressed me! 😄

Has anyone done all 10 of these?

fa98:
Would be cool to see how many of these people here can do and if anyones done all 10!

1. Break a couch
2. Break a bed
3. Not fit into a car
4. Not fit into a bus seat
5. Break the scale
6. Have a triple belly
7. Be able to clap with your thighs
8. Hide objects in your belly rolls
9. Eat a whole cake
10. Squash someone

These all sound super hard but I bet some people have done at least one!

Raw oats

I eat “overnight oats” all the time, which is just raw oats with milk, left mixed together overnight. So for sure you should be able to use it in the way you’re imagining. The only downside could be that it probably takes a while—the oats don’t absorb the liquid that quickly. But maybe if you eat them in the morning, and then drink all day, you’ll feel all the stretches and tightening over time!
