i was a young, fit fa when i first remember seeing him. i was dating a bbw, and my first thought was that it's great that fat people were getting some representation on snl for the first time in forever.

then i remember seeing the chippendales sketch, and the feelings it brought out in me, it was honestly one of the first times i can recall recognizing my bi-sexuality. above his talent and charm, he was such a handsome guy, with a fantastic body! gone far too soon.

i am biased, because i met my current partner on wooplus. but it's not a social media platform - it's a dating app. yes, it has all the flaws that all of the other dating apps have, so your mileage will vary (heavily!) depending on how you interact with these things. i am surprised as anyone that it worked for me, lol.

there is still a dimension forum - they also have a forum devoted to stories. it doesn't seem to be quite as active as ff, though.

your descriptions of discovering the dimensions website mirror my own, as a fat admirer at the time. i was a fit young man, so i didn't suffer in the way that plus-sized people did, but the stigma towards fat people was so strong then that even admitting you found a fat person attractive was seen as radical. preferring fat over thin seemed insane! i didn't know anyone who was attracted to fat people like i was, so dimensions really did give me that same feeling of, "oh wow, i am not totally alone and a complete misfit!"

fatcon is for all genders. there have been bhm keynote speakers and guest in the past. they are the minority, but that is understandable given the body positivity focus (as opposed to feedism). fat men tend to have far less stigma associated with them than women amongst "normies."

also keep in mind that if you find someone you are compatible with in a lot of ways, they may come to understand and appreciate your kink, even if they don't share it. my partner didn't even know what feedism was, but we dating because she is into fat guys. i introduced her to this kind of stuff - very gradually! - and over time she found the ways in which it appealed to her.

so not all feedees/feeders are born, some of them transition over time. just don't ram it down someone's throat, let them see what resonates with them.
