not surprised by this - i logged on today to a pretty nasty dm from edddde (who i don't recall ever conversing with, so it was a surprsie). i couldn't reply and question why he sent it, because he blocked me. but i am thinking it's probably blockable behaviour, if any admin wants to check it out?

The key word is "ask". It's simple to just say "no" and let that be it. If it's unwanted you can defend yourself.

I think I misunderstood OP's post earlier. But anyhow I myself am a BBW who have previously dated bigger guys.

I will say I have bad experiences with talking to guys on here on my old account. They often come off as desperate and are suddenly in love with you. Expecting you to date them all because they have a body type you like.

I have seen a good chunk of misogyny on here. Even I have once been called "bitchy" years ago from some dude in the chatroom. I don't blame women for wanting to stay private because of that. In matter of fact I set my gender to "other" to avoid unsolicited DM's.

We budget well, so fortunately, our food bill isn't quite this high, but it is the major portion of our budget when I'm gaining like this. We're prudent in other areas, and we only have one car because I can't drive anyway at my size. We don't do fancy vacations, and we save money in other ways.

A few years back, I posted a lot of pictures under a different handle on other websites. I've stopped doing that because of some stalking issues, but that's a story for a different thread. I decided, before I ever started posting, that I didn't want to accept money for images or videos or gains. I have all the respect in the world for people who do create content for revenue,; It's just not for me. I funded all of my own gaining when I was single, and my husband supports a lot of it now.

We're definitely not rich, but my job pays decently well, and his pays significantly more than mine. We both had college scholarships, so our only school debt is my master's degree. We're pretty lucky in that regard.

Additionally, we don't have a mortgage or lease. I was able to buy our home with the sale of a property I inherited. Our HOA is pretty steep, but it's nothing like a monthly mortgage or rent payment would be.

And yes, I've definitely had to stop gaining at certain points because of the cost. However, we plan accordingly and build it into the budget. In May though, we did have an unexpected expense, so taking a break at the moment will both be beneficial as my body bounces back and our wallets bounce back too!
