Tips for dumbing down

In a lot of ways I am not keen on actually dumbing down (like kids shows and no reading), but, like, I kind of like the idea of counting to 10 if a thought pops into my head and referring to my boyfriend for things. ... Which makes sense as I am dumb and am only good for eating and doing as I’m told.
I am not read books anymore that are for adults. I used to read a lot of like fanatacy and Sifi and all them have too many big words for me now.
I read magazines mostly fashion and food and I can read books for kids up to 8years old. I also colour a lot too.

Don’t worry I haven’t completely lost my stories, my bf will read me my fantasy books as bed time stories he just leaves out parts he thinks are too much for me and dumbs down th language as he goes, so I can understand.

Plus what does she need to know about current events? She eats, she sleeps she does as she’s told. Why fill her head with anything but fun colours and yummy foods. If anything happens she needs to know about I’ll explain it to her in a dumbed down enough way that she can understand.

From what I've read, hypnotic suggestions are like habits. It's easier to go along with them then fight them. Sometimes they're tough to ignore. You always can ignore them, though, and they go away if you do that enough.

If that's true, this is ethically equivalent to getting someone in the habit of eating dessert after every meal.

If that's not true and they can't fight it on their own, they can see a hypnotist to undo the suggestion. Sure, that's a huge imposition if someone didn't consent to this. Consent is built into this discussion though.

It's done with full knowledge and consent. It's reversible. I don't see any ethical problems with that.

I used to do this with an ex. Stories turned us both on, so we'd send each other short stories in 2nd person present tense.

(example, "You find yourself in a dungeon" )

Over time, we built up a shared universe, where each of us had added characters, locations and events that all tied together.

It was a lot of fun.

I almost always start with a scenario. I get some idea that really tickles me and I have to bring it to life.

If it's a longer story, I'll map out the plot, really loosely. It's usually a keyword or a single scene I want to happen. As I write, I'll get ideas and I'll add quick notes to the outline.

I rarely plan characters. I prefer to let them introduce themselves to me and surprise me.
