I’m interested. I’m slowly adding stuff to FF, so you can see what I already have.
I write SSBHM and prefer dominant feedees, which might be something interesting for the anthology as it isn’t common.
I specialize in horror outside of this community and sometimes it seeps in to certain genres of WG fiction I write, but I can also do something more fun like my story ‘The Wolf’ or domestic fluff.

I’m curious…
Are there certain genres of fiction you want to see more of? Those that are rare or haven’t even been explored in weight gain fiction?
I have a horror based SSBHM story I’m working on. Goal is to make it a Lovecraftian screenplay.
What are some genres you’d like to see more of? Or, even, tropes you’d like to see turned on their head?

LoraDayton:
hear hear for writing fanfic. The majority of conventional media we consume is already fanfiction. If someone wants to write professionally for TV or film, you have to basically write fanfic: be exceptionally good at working within the universe someone else created. Voice, scope, characterization, all of it.
So many turn their noses up at fanfic not realizing that most of what we watch and read is already. "Retellings" are fanfiction. The Lion King is fanfiction (what if Hamlet was set in Africa with talking lions?). Titanic is fanfiction.
Not to mention there are some absolutely incredible writers doing this for free and with barely any editing assistance out there. Much of the best writing I've encountered that sticks with me is fanfic.
You’re right. Established IP’s are recycled and overdone countlessly now. Mostly because studios realize the money maker that is “nostalgia”.
I recall when fanfiction was frowned upon. I even remember when Ann Rice freaked out and said she’d seek legal action against the poor writers writing fanfics of her work.
It’s no longer unacceptable, especially since fandoms of fictional work has become such an acceptable pop culture item.
I personally am tired of the same IP being re-done over and over or superfluous sequels that only lead to frustration and poor storytelling. *cough* Star Wars *cough*
Fanfiction is a way to bypass that and make something that adheres to the canon or creates new alternative universes that those in the fandom can enjoy.
It’s a great way to explore your writing ability without the “hassle” of creating entirely new characters and building them, which can take quite a bit of time.

One thing I can add to this lovely thread is to dip your toes into fanfiction.
It’s a very popular way for people to get into writing and hone their craft. You already have a world and characters laid out for you, so it’s easier to jump right in and write. However, there’s a huge subset of fanfiction that takes place in AUs(alternate universes) which allows you the chance to place these characters in very different circumstances.
This used to be frowned upon forever ago when I first started, but it’s considered a very acceptable means of exploring your writing ability these days.
I actually have a horror AU fanfiction that I will be reworking a bit to turn into an original short story or translate it into a screenplay.
If there’s a fictional IP(intellectual property) that you particularly enjoy, definitely give it a try. There’s also quite a few weight-gain themed fanfiction as well, so you can try out some ideas on the already established characters. Oh, and you don’t even need to post it. Just do it for you!
Otherwise, some of the best advice I can give is to not push yourself to write like someone else. It’s obviously important to read as much as possible, but don’t try to compare your “voice” to others. Learn from what you’re reading. See what’s popular. Then hone your own style. It’s just like “art”: everyone has their own style and it’s what sets them a part. It would be a pretty boring world if everyone wrote or drew the same. Minds work different and yours is beautiful!
I have a clear writing style that I’ve been molding since the long, long ago. The before time. High School. People either like it or they don’t. Not everyone is going to love what or how you write. I’ve read critically acclaimed stories and couldn’t get into them at all. Or just didn’t understand the appeal. Try to make yourself happy first. Someone will love it just as much!
The show don’t tell is very important. I read a lot of stories that go WAY too in-depth with descriptions that it feels jarring. I like to write just enough so the reader can imagine the rest. I have used numbers twice in the story I’ve posted here, but always framed as a maybe. Never a set weight. I use the descriptions of the overweight character to fuel the reader’s, and another character’s, imagination. Unless the character is actively weighing themselves all the time, or it ties into the theme, I don’t believe an average person will know their EXACT weight at any given time. It’s been a year since I’ve weighed myself and I just have to ballpark it. Ha!
Re-read your work, use a beta reader, or even take advantage of the plethora of online tools and apps that will double check your grammar. Don’t trust the automated help implicitly. Take the suggested corrections as they are: suggestions. Compare to what you’ve already written and go from there. Sometimes it’s just enough for you to go, “Oh, man! I could totally write that differently!”
There are also some interesting guides on erotic writing on Amazon Kindle Unlimited that I’ve perused. I don’t agree with all the advice, but the books impart some concepts that may help if you’re looking to write more erotica.
Hopefully, my input is somewhat helpful!
Edit: Just to drive home the “re-read your work” advice: I re-read already published works all the time. If I find an issue, I go in and edit it. I found a few just now re-reading ‘The Wolf’ and dived right into the editor to fix the issues.

I have my Grandma Gower’s Dirt Pudding recipe which I’m pretty sure is quite fattening since it’s so rich.
I can post a photo of the recipe if you want, but you gotta give appeasement to my grandma if you do 🤣

My poor guy is ill so I decided to make some chicken tortilla soup in the instant pot.
What are you all eating/cooking tonight?

So, curious what other’s experiences are.
Pre-requisite: I’m happily married for 12 years, together 15 years, and monogamous so nothing about that please.
Anyway, I love the adult nursing thing. I even bought off amazon a decent manual breast breast pump that I had used when my daughter was born. I’ve considered getting an “electric” one as it is so great to feed my husband and imagine him gaining because of it. It’s very easy to make myself produce considering when I was nursing our daughter.
What about everyone else? Do other women find this a huge turn on and want to do the same? How do the guys feel about it?

I’ve been a lurker for awhile but don’t know if I ever introduced myself! I’m trying to be more active and plan to write for FFA/SSBHM fiction.
I’m 34yo and have been married to my BFF and husband for 12 years, together 15 years.
When I first met him, he was a fitness nut due to his father’s upbringing. I, personally, always go for personality over physique so I fell in love with who he is. Finally, I told him my fetish and he was like, “Why didn’t you tell me this earlier?!” Now he gains for me and has once said how he’d love to be 500lbs and keep boys/girls meeting our daughter by his sheer girth at the door(HOT).
I’m here to make friends only and would love to meet more FFAs, ESPECIALLY those that love BHM/SSBHMs being dominate. I love it and it can be kind of annoying always reading fiction that involves the male being submissive.
I also love playing games and sometimes stream it. Otherwise, I have a talk show that usually focuses on the pet grooming industry as I am a part of it and have a lot of contacts. I have a comedian co-host now so we are branching out.
I can still feel self-conscious about revealing I’m a FFA. I’ve only told one person in my family, my little brother(21yo) who is gay because it sounded like he was talking about bears but I misheard him, so he found out my “thing”. Lol. Luckily I can trust him to not say anything to the rest of my family who are very vein.
I also have an original low-fantasy story I’ve been working on for YEARS and the assumed antagonist is a BIG GUY(with his height? SSBHM in weight)in his human form and has a relationship with the protagonist who is shorter and more slim than him.
I also have a Lovecraftian-ish screenplay I’ve been putting off but still slowly flesh out that involves an SSBHM Old One and his son.
I’ve also put little hints of my FFA-ness in my fanfiction for certain anime and it’s great when people are like “I didn’t think I’d like this character fat, but god damnit, you made it so good!”.
Anyway, I’ve loved lurking and I’m trying to put myself out there more and meet people!!!
EDIT: someone asked me what FFA is. When I first started lurking YEARS ago, FFA meant a ‘female fat admirer’ as at the time it seemed appropriate to separate ourselves. Stuff has changed since then so maybe it isn’t used as much.

Tomorrow night I’ll be making oven baked chicken katsu. I’d prefer deep fry but I want a new Dutch oven first.
For lunch the next day(or perhaps dinner bc leftovers is great on the pocket) I’d like to make this:
www.justonecookbook.com/chicken-katsu-onigirazu/It includes the chicken plus rice, veggies(cabbage or spinach) and a fried egg wrapped in nori(seaweed).

Hmmm maybe just setting it in college would be safer? I only went with high school for the accessible tropes but there are still plenty for college.
