I miss the Internet forum. Discord or FB groups is a step, or a couple steps back. Forums were indexed by search engines, threaded, searchable. It made collecting large information banks much easier.

You wake up one fine morning. You eat, wash, dress and go to work. After a hard day you come back, sit in front of your desk and open FF to see what's new. The website looks... different. No pictures, just black text on a white background. You open the list of people you follow. There are no pictures, just black boxes next to the user name. You're looking for folks to talk to, but if they can't see you they will not want to talk to you. Can we please get phone number verification through a gateway such as Amazon OTP, retention period where if you delete an account you can't make one in a month, or alternatively a screening system which allows people to preemptively hide their page from unverified/new accounts? If you want to foster a healthy community you must take security seriously.

It troubles me to see so many of my fellow FA to be such abusive. This topic is very sensitive for me as my partner was in an abusive relationship, albeit not feederism-related it was traumatising nonetheless. As someone who helped her to overcome her fears and lack of self-esteem I can say, that as someone who wants to help a victim after the fact you need to be extremely sensitive to what, and especially how you phrase your thoughts. It is very easy to get someone hurt just because you said something. Remember that victims are vulnerable, and they get even more vulnerable after they understand what has been done to them. Never ignore cries for help. I am sorry if I'm unwanted here as a male but as said, the topic of abuse is very close to my heart.
