I'm not caught up but I was super into the manga like a decade ago. Toga was always my fav character.

Thank you for sharing! Are the furry - what do you call them, costumes? - expensive?[/quote]
Fursuits are crazy expensive, the heads alone are over 1k usually, I don't even know how much for the full bodies, especially on bigger bodies. Some people make their own but it's a lot of work and materials. I don't think I'll ever get one because of the price and the fact that I don't really go to conventions.

I know very little about furries, and would like to learn. I know there's crossover with feedism. If I were to guess what draws you to it, maybe the ability to choose your form? Anonymity? Playing a role outside of your norm?
If anyone would like to share, I'd like to know more. 😊
Pigpigpig:
For me a lot of it is expressing things about myself I can't/struggle to express irl.
When I was bordering on underweight and struggling with gender feelings, making a hyper feminine fat pig fursona was weirdly therapeutic for me. Seeing art of her happily indulging still gives me comfy feelings inside.
MickRidem:
Oh! Okay, that helps me understand. Thank you!
If I try to equate that in my life, it sounds similar to when I was underweight and would pad large clothes to extreme sizes. A physical and temporary outside manifestation of the feelings inside that can't be expressed through conventional means. Like an extension of your inner self?
Exactly! Plus, while I've never been super active in the community, it's comforting to know there's a big community of fatfurs out there expressing themselves similarly.

PurpleJade:
Omg!!! I do. But that’s nothing, I love to eat 30 pounds in a day. My secret? Hitting my belly with a hammer. Nothing feels better than hammering 30 pounds of food through my digestive system. When I get to my intestines it’s quite scary! It’s a like a REEALLY big maze and I never know where to hit the hammer. Thats when I bring out the rat. The rat pushes through the 30 pounds of food that I ate. Usually the rat comes out fine, except for the fact that they usually go blind. I used to use mice, but think they’re much slower. I’ve used the mice 3 times so now I have 3 blind mice. If they sing to me, I no longer have the need to throw up. It just doesn’t happen, I just can keep eating. Definitely use some combination of these methods if you really wanna enter the big leagues to gain weight.
LMAO and then everybody clapped

Everything.
It doesn’t matter what you eat, it’s that you eat and you enjoy eating what you’re eating.
weight will come from consistently indulging your appetite. Trust the process
Agreed. Eating what you like but just eating more of it will get you way further in the long run than forcing yourself to eat whatevers gonna maximize your gain.
Seriously OP, whatever your favorite snacks are, just snack on em even more.

For me the worst part is how sweaty I get compared to when I was thin, especially during the humid summer. So I just stay indoors most of the summer problem solved lol.

I have an all-consuming sweet tooth but I try to eat more savory snacks than sugary just for health reasons.
