Is a fat man a man?

Urchie:
Yall are such eggs

Harleen Zaftig:
Let's not shove our opinions about gender and sexuality on other people when they don't invite it, maybe? smiley

I absolutely am all about genderqueering etc, but I cringe when someone calls other people eggs or the like without them inviting it.

If you want to quietly muse about how they might be unaware they're trans, do that to yourself.

Speaking as someone who has been upset at being called an egg *while I am 100% aware that I am genderqueer*.

LGBT+ labels are delicate things, and people can explore their gender without being an "egg" or "trans" or etc etc
While I understand people being upset with that comment. I wouldn't take it too personally. I think Urchie was just trying to be cheeky as usual. Their comments have that blunt sort of humor if I worded it right. I would just block and maybe take a break if your mental health is affected.

Ideas to improve block feature.

I doubt these changes will get implemented but I thought it was worth chiming in my own suggestions anyways.

- Not see blocked user's comments and PFP.

- Blocked people are unable to comment on your own posts. I think there should be some exceptions though like pinned threads or mod's announcements.

- Not see quoted responses that have the blocked persons' comments. This is in par with the first suggestion.

- Not see their threads.

A skinny dude talks about his preference publicly

KlondikeBar:
I've been noticing this niche of old people recording themselves talking while talking about their lives and sharing inspiring advice on YouTube. They don't seem to be reading from a script though I think you can do that. Personally, I find knowing what to say beforehand more genuine!

JN_TumLover56:
I have noticed that myself as well! Or just people talking and going about their day without any sort of flashy editing. It’s almost like people want to push for the return of authenticity on the platform again or something like that?

I think this particular style is what I am planning on doing by speaking what I want to say, without a script, with some minor editing. It might be a little harder to do for me (joys of being autistic) but it’s probably worth it for the sake of sound more real and authentic. Y’know?
As a neurodivergent person I resonate with your concern. I was someone who hated public speeches. The only exception was this PowerPoint presentation I did about harp seals in middle school because I was really into the subject matter.

Maybe you can try making mockup videos until you feel confident enough? I imagine at one point you will get used to talking towards the camera and know your topic better. You can also always just use a picture if you don't want showing your face.

Other options

Aside from the incel comment. Beast has scapegoated posters in the past in regard to his self-esteem problems. Which is probably considered manipulative behavior. I actually do still remember the threads in question but I personally don't like digging up past drama.

Of course, I don't know him personally. Only had a few conversations with him here and there. But from what I've gathered from his vent comments about loneliness, it sounds like he struggles with self-compassion. Which I think one needs to have in order to start a serious and healthy relationship. I myself don't love myself either but his way of thinking is very concerning and he should see a therapist. I mean the last part genuinely.

I'm retiring!

Gordonfatman:
Finally, someone says it. It's the sad reality of this fetish, and it's a common rule: fat women don't like fat men, or non-fat feeder women don't like fat men. This fetish is for women or gay men. The girls here are just promoting their Patreon or their OF, or they're not looking for anything serious, not even friendship. I think a real-life relationship is better. I like it here because of some of the blogs that are posted, but not for relationships.
Well, I am a plus sized woman who is attracted to BHM. But that doesn't mean I want to hook up with every fat guy I see. I not very open with my fetish except for online. I think that is the case with a lot of FFA's because of societys' twisted views on beauty standards and most fat people having low self esteem in their bodies.

Weight gain and health

I used to be in a LDR with a man from states away years ago. Of course, I was more of an encourager than a feeder. Around the end of December he reached his goal of 400 pounds. However, he had trouble trying to get out of bed and other health issues I don't remember. He claimed to have had visceral fat issues in the past. Don't know if age means anything but he was near his forties. Used to be skinny and athletic.

Why do i keep getting rejected by fat men

FAMGM:
If you’re seeking out fat men, you have to understand that there is a major difference in psychology between fat men who hate being fat, and never wanted to be fat, and fat men who are feedists and gained weight deliberately.

The former kind of man invariably has low self-esteem and simply doesn’t respect people who find him attractive.

Shadowddr:
You are making a point there that is the main line in "this fetish admiration".
People, when they meet a person with certain body types, we all assume things, like if we see someone fat, we think that person got fat because they wanted to.
The fact that someone likes to gain weight does not mean that they have low self-esteem.
There are people who like to eat but don't like to gain weight. However, they don't burn off the calories they consume.
Which, for me, is the saddest thing... I mean, if you don't like what you see and start crying, well, do something about it, right?.
So if we meet someone, we have to SCAN the situation, because if that person doesn't want to gain weight and you start OVERFEEDING him/her, well, that person might start growing resentment over the feeder and psychologically hurt themselves.
I'm a fat woman with low self esteem issues. My family have often fat shamed me so unsurprisingly I never loved my body.

Why I never bother losing weight or dieting? Aside from working 9-5 it was just not my biggest priority at the moment. I struggle with mental health issues and pop/coffee addiction that is also a factor to my weight gain.

Overall I try to accept for who I am and not dwell over it. I've started to realize I can't please anyone and sometimes that is their own reflection of themselves.

Any cad drafters here?

Ah, silly me! Solidworks is the one with the home-use membership.

Any cad drafters here?

Slip130:
Id say it depends on what you're doing and who you're doing it for. Every employer is going to be different but I had family that was good at AutoCAD and just did residential custom drawings like pools and add ons on the side. Also of course helps to know people who can push your work. If you're just getting started having credentials is pretty much necessary to get yourself out there and show that your certified.
This is coming from my experience studying mechanical engineering, I just work with solid works at the moment though. Also there are probably better places to ask like, I'm not a reddit user but there are probably some good subreddits out there with good advice.
Admittedly, I made this thread in a hurry while in the bathroom before my shift started. So there are some missing details here and there. I've written this post during my existential crisis at work so I probably come off as desperate haha.

Anyways, I knew that talking about a niche industry on a fat fetish site wouldn't garner much attention. I deleted my Reddit account a few weeks ago for mental health reasons. I did discover there are some CAD forums though.

I have hemmed and hawed about becoming an engineer. (planes and boats are my special interests) However, I just don't know if university is for me and the math seems very heavy. Community college at least sounds feasible to me. I have dreamt of working in the maritime industry while designing but I would need a bachelor's to take masters in ocean engineering or naval architecture.

I unfortunately have no connections in this industry. I would have the live in the Seattle area for more job opportunities which the COL is high of course.

If I end up liking OnShape then I could also give AutoCad a try and purchase the $50 a month membership.
