How authors get paid

The one thing you can't do is use this site or your stories as advertising for other websites. So you're welcome to post full stories here and full stories elsewhere, but posting a teaser here and saying "if you want to read the rest, click here to buy my book/join my patreon/etc" is not allowed.

Thank you for explaining this to me in particular, I wouldn't have known otherwise. And thank you for explaining the rest of your policy in detail, you've answered every question I have but one.

Would it be acceptable for me to put a link to a personal website that promotes my work in my bio somewhere, if I wasn't drawing attention to it in any other way?

How authors get paid

Hi, I was interested in selling stories here until I read the details of how one gets paid.

This is a great site, I love everything about it so far, but I'm currently planning on selling my feedist stories elsewhere because I want to get paid according to how many stories I sell. Like, if I sell a hundred copies of a chapter at $2 each, I should get whatever my percentage of $200 is, instead of hoping that everyone that wants to read it isn't subscribing to your service yet and doesn't find a different link to sign up.

I understand that any website selling my stories is going to want their cut, and I think that's only fair; especially to keep a great place like this running. But the way the payouts are structured for authors is dissuading me from joining what otherwise looks like a great place to market feedist stories.

How can i gain without sugary foods and heavy cream?

Sounds like you're diabetic or prediabetic. This is the best advice for this situation that I've been able to figure out:

Start off every meal with lots of fiber. For breakfast, that'd probably be a bowl of raisin bran or oatmeal. For all other meals, that'd probably be a big salad. They both have plenty of calories.

Then eat your savory foods, then eat your sweet foods last. Doing it in this order gives your body plenty of extra time to absorb and process the extra calories without spiking blood glucose levels.

Another thing is a study I saw that demonstrated that people with diabetes could maintain their weight safely with a diet that had the same amount of calories, but more of it coming from fats and proteins. I would imagine these dietary ratios would apply to gaining weight, too. I'm not sure the heavy cream is really part of the problem, at least if the problem is diabetes; dairy and meat are the healthiest calories to binge in general.

But what could be part of the problem is the amount being gained. It's okay to go slower. You eat less per pound gained because your body gets more nutrients and calories from each bite, and that means less blood glucose spikes. And going slower means you get to enjoy the journey more, so it's not even a bad thing. I would say, unless it's Thanksgiving or your honeymoon, gain no more than half a pound a day. Probably no more than a quarter pound a day.

Finally, some exercise - especially exercise that helps you build muscle - will help regulate your blood glucose levels a whole lot better. It does mean you need to eat more just to maintain, but if it lets you get fatter while healthy, it's definitely worth it.

Conservatives and fat

Devilled eggs are delicious, and you have a point. Those church ladies know what they're doing.

It just seems like a way to wriggle out of the same sort of accountability y'all expect from the people you describe, that's all. And if they see you refusing to accept accountability, why would you expect them to? It's a great way to keep the culture war going forever, but not a great way to heal its divisions and move on to the class war that's keeping us all down.

And what's the root of it, really? I know people on both sides of this culture war, and the biggest reactionaries and the biggest wokes are just mirror versions of each other, doing the same things for the same reasons, and justifying it with the same sorts of lies they tell themselves. One kind of wishes it was possible for them to both lose, except they both already have lost the class war, and this is how they've chosen to lash out instead of doing anything productive about it.

No hate to anyone, I am new here so maybe I haven't seen all the context or whatever. But the broader debate about this particular term bugs me because it puts the lie to the principles of sexual liberation and bodily autonomy that I actually do support.

Then insult them on the basis of their reactionary politics, not on the basis of how much sex they aren't having. Calling them incels just legitimizes that reactionary worldview and concedes that it's reality.

Aren't they shamed for being ugly and/or living in their mother's basement too, though? I mean, if we're going to do radical left stuff, let's be consistent.

I dunno, it does seem kinda hypocritical to be all like "no shaming people for their bodies or their sexual history or their class...

...except for this particular group of people here who we don't like, that's based and fun."

Have principles or don't, but don't pretend you do and then act like you don't.

Gifted clothes

I asked for boxers and a 2X is now too small for me. I put them on and they choke my fat ass until they manage to wriggle off of me. I'm going to have to buy boxers myself from now on.

Story behind your username?

TonyMangioni:
I needed a penname, and due to recent news events, I learned that "Mangioni" is Italian for "big eater." "Tony" isn't just a name, it also means "sophisticated" or "classy." There you have it.

JN_TumLover56:
That’s actually pretty clever!

Thanks!
