I would do it. I would go as far as to lose weight if my wife agreed to gain pound for pound what I took off. I like myself at any weight.
If we were both gaining together, she and I have different eating styles and preferences. I don't know how much teamwork we would have.
On the other hand, we are both petty competitive, so I could see us trying to out-gain each other too.

Thanks. I don't think I would have any problems putting on weight. I just wondered what little things I wasn't considering.
For example, the conversations about how to deal with family comments generally revolves around parents, but what do you say to your teenage or college aged kids? Or, as I understand it, heartburn is more prevalent in middle age.
Maybe there are advantages that the rest of us aren't considering. I don't know what I don't know.

1. 260 lbs
2. 260
3. I would like to be skinny for a day, like 170, just so I wouldn't feel skinny when the time was up.
4. Also, if it was permanent, I would like to go down to almost sickly skinny, like 135. Then when I gained up to where I am now, it would be a real accomplishment.

Little things I like:
1. The 1000 yard stare.
2. Focusing before another round on an already stuffed belly.
3. Finding that right position that opens up a new pocket to fill.
3. Full-belly naps.
4. Letting the belly breathe by lifting my shirt and lowering pants.
5. Shallow breathing
6. Setting a new record

I am in my mid thirties. Feederism is currently incompatible with my life, in that I have small children that I like to be able to keep up with and athletic hobbies. I do enjoy the occasional stuffing, and appreciate other people that are currently living the life.
I have also heard from other members who started off as feeders, but only started gaining themselves later in life, but other than that, it is rare to hear of people that are here, but not yet gaining.
I don't have a set date to totally let myself go, or a goal weight to get to, but I know that there are only two kinds of old people; frail ones and fat ones. And I plan to go out fat.
I am seeking encouragement and advice from people that are either older then 50, that leaned into their middle-aged spread, or that are soon-to-be empty nesters, about how they do it.

It's not the sexy part of this, but take a calibration break. Get used to living your life at your current weight, and when you are ready, the itch to gain will come back stronger.

Have you ever tried to stuff on the move? When I am on vacation or in a touristy area, I like to sample three or four different places and window shop or sit and people watch in between meals.

I realize it sounds like I finished all of this. With each round, I ate as much as I could as fast as I could for as long as I could, then threw the rest out. Then I rested and recharged for the next load. I timed it to my laundry, so I went for the next thing whenever I had to take the next load out of the dryer. Folding clothes is one of those chores you can do while stuffed.
Also, I forgot to mention that both on Thanksgiving and for this leftover stuffing, I discovered the power of using a glass of brandy as a digestif after a big meal. It really does get rid of the upset tight feeling in the belly.
