It's hard to change the way that someone feels about themselves. Sure you may find her more beautiful and or desirable with the added weight. Though to her it will just be the opposite.
All you can do is just be supportive of her.

Yes, you usually will end up running into people who give you one word answers or just absolutely no content to your questions.
Though you have to understand the nature of the site. Some people are just looking for certain things. A quick fix, or some attention?
Though actual conversation will always weed out who is worth talking to (if that makes any sense). I found out that the Chatroom is a great place to meet people to talk to. I have made a number of friends on here by just starting to chat there. Hopefully this helps

Love your art Tony! Especially some of the abstract-styled pieces you've done. Just amazing work

So that's what they call it? Go figure! I was always a muscle chub growing up. Played 2 sports and went to the gym (but was never able to lose those last 10-20lbs).

You're right @Eve. Maintenance is key to keeping a beard.

Plus if you add milk or coffee w/ cream and sugar everytime you have your donut snack, you're adding at least 600 calories per day.

Actually looking back, the Simpsons had more than a handful of feeding scenes/episodes besides "King Size Homer".
Think there was an episode with Bart gaining weight eating junk food, and of course when Homer was a food critic and the whole town started putting on weight because Homer gave rave reviews on everything.
There was one episode with a scene with Mr Sparkle, where he turned a group of women into BBWs. There was also the episode where Marge was trying to ban sugar- there was a scene in it with a bbw exercising and eating cake.
yeah, the Simpsons are a gold mine
