The first time that you were referred to as " being overweight ".

Most of my clothes as an adolescent were considered in "husky" sizes. I gained at university and lost weight soon after and kept the weight off in the military reserves for twenty five year, now I'm 230 lbs. at 71 inches, BMI in the mid-thirties, clinically obese now.

Sweating down there?

I wear briefs for comfort, cotton works well for me and quickly dries out. I do have some nylon briefs which are great to keep the waist band being dragged down on by butt, however they don’t breath. I don’t wear them in warm weather or when I know I will get warm and sweat a lot.

Moving to fatter cities

I can relate to your dilemma. My wife and I are relocating to another state. Where we presently are moving from is ranked near the top of most fit states. I'm not hugely obese but admire the heavy form. My wife is obese, so moving to a friendly area just works out.

Overeating at night is better for weight gain than overeating at morning?

I agree, totally best weigh to gain. My only caveat would be careful with acidic foods or spicy foods. I take medication for acid reflux and these can really set off bedtime heart burn.

Fat friendly or fat only?

Circumference:
It is an interesting ethical discussion.
What if a someone made a restaurant that specialized for tall people? What if they deliberately designed it so that people under 6' wouldn't be able to comfortably sit at any of the tables? What of they specifically made it Handicap unaccessable? Would that be ethical of them?
Of course this is also different than companies trying to fill niche markets. Like for instance Big'N Tall stores who supply clothing that isn't regularly carried most places. Specialization can be a really good thing.
It seems like the main difference is that while one business strategy focuses on providing something that isn't regularly provided, the other seeks to segrigate it's niche clientele.
Does that make any sense? What other social or ethical implications could there be?

I/m thinking the point of the article was to "cater" to fat/obese people, while not necessarily excluding people who weren't fat or obese. If a slim person wanted to eat there and could or would tolerate the cold temperatures mentioned in the article, then eat there. I didn't read in the article that there was a sign outside reading; "Fat Only".

Fat friendly or fat only?

Bigwideland:
I came across this article, not sure what to make of it, like it in some ways, and not sure in other aspect,

www.businessinsider.com.au/why-fat-people-should-have-their-own-separate-restaurants-2011-12[/quote]

I would gain weight just to eat at a restaurant based on this concept!

Padding in your childhood

For me, it was a couple of cartoons, of course the weight standard, “ Pigs be Pigs” and another one with Porky Pig, a mouse and some monster guy. This cartoon ends with Porky and the mouse gorging on food showing huge bellies.
