European super league
Namaste:
Whats you're thoughts on it?
Personally I think it will ruin football.
LondonFA:
As this has been on the news all day I have to ask what is the big deal.
Its an odd thing to see so much of. I've tried to follow (I'm not a fan of the game and know very little about it despite knowing a few people in the industry).
I saw comments about the new league being a "closed?" league and hence not compatible with the current leagues. As far as I can tell it seems to be the highest viewed teams in european football have made a cooperative league in which they play each other as though europe was a single nation state and they are the most popular teams so should be able to bypass the usual country->international->euros hierarchy?
Why is it being debated in parliament?
Punkviper:
Part of the concern is the potential damage it could cause on the pyramid of English football, due to the movement of money out of the domestic game. Surprisingly large amounts of money in the domestic game move down from the Premier league to the lower leagues and keep them afloat. By doing this, the big 6 teams potentially will greatly reduce the amount that then moves down, one because of the moment in sponsorship and television rights, and two because it is likely that the big six will be thrown out of the Premier league.
Even if they aren't thrown out, they will receive £3bn just from joining this league, which will inflate their transfer budgets far beyond what the rest of the Premier league can manage, so if they could just pick and choose whichever players they want without a care. This could prevent the wonderful giant killing we see in the Premier league, something that makes it special.
Part of what hurts as a football fan is the idea that this group of teams believe that they deserve to be in this superleague where they can't be relegated, due to how much money they have. That goes against everything that football in England and Europe stands for, just because the owners can't understand the concept of relegation.
Those are just a few reasons why there is a lot of concern even creeping into. Governmental level. I'd recommend watching some of Gary Neville's comments on sky sports, he gives a decent account of the issue.

I see where many people are coming from if theres no firewall on capital deployment from the ESL ie the additional income will create significant inequality in the EPL.
I'm currently in Barcelona and it seems less of an issue with more of a calm division in opinion I guess that's because Barna is owned by the season ticket holders and not by a corporate body and the fact there are basically 2 big teams in the whole of Spain both of which are joining the ESL.
Surely the potential brand valuation gap and the fact the ESL is functioning like a cartel almost as it is a closed set with no oversight does make this a potential govt issue as there may be a competition question in the future.

Gaining and lifting

Does anybody maintain a regular gym routine while gaining or did you quit the gym (if you went in the first place) to reinforce your commitment to fattening up?

I met my wife at gymbox in the UK when she joined a class I was teaching for a friend in my old regiment.
She wasnt naturally in to working out, however, she was keeping herself healthy.
After coming out and us settling down she dropped a lot of the healthy eating etc.
When baby 2 was on the way I was worried about her health and so consulted some friends who were larger but still fit and tried to adapt their training regimes to her.
Obviously she still stays active with the kids and the stairs in the house, however, to make sure she can carry that glorious belly. She planks, does dead lifts but slowly, no sweat, no sets, just pick a max-25%, brace up and lift. No more cleans.
For upper back, rows.
She does work up a sweat, but not weighted, just long walks with me on weekends either in the pennines when in the UK or in any hills around us when travelling.
on thing I would say is that keeping a good posture and a stron rear chain makes her both heavier and fuller in look. Most of her weight is subcutaneous so it sits ahead of the abs. Her posterior is fuller and shes pushed out hence her breasts and belly are carried forward.
With only 3 days a week and very passive working out with about 100 lbs on the bar, she has maintained a good resting heart rate and has no back ache despite closing in on being class ii obese

Website rebranding 20/04/2021
FF Team:
Hi all,
This is a notification that tomorrow 20th April 2021 we will be launching our new rebranded site.
We've been working really hard to update the site and create a new look that is more modern and fun for you to all enjoy... We know! It's been a long time coming!
There is still lots of work to be done, but as of tomorrow you will notice that the site will look rather different! We hope you like it, and most importantly... although we will look a bit different we ARE the same site!!!
Tomorrows update is just the first stage of many, so this is not by any means the finished article, and we will be continually working on the brand and site design as we go through this year.
Please note, that you don't need to do anything differently. Your content, profiles, log in details and upgrades will not be affected, and you can use the site as normal.
As with any major site changes, there can be some teething issues. A lot of our code base has been changed in the update so we may encounter some bugs...
We will be testing the site as much as possible, but we are only human and some things may get missed. If you spot anything out of the ordinary, or something that doesn't work as usual, error messages, etc... then please get in touch so we can get this fixed as soon as possible!
We would also love to hear your thoughts, suggestions and feedback! So don't be shy!

Healthy gaining phenomenon
Having been in the community for over 20 years, had 4 long term feedees, one of which is my wife, I have always assumed that the general calorie in vs out model is broken, and looking at hormonal balances and insulin interaction was very important in gaining.
This post is an anecdote, but I just wonder if anyone else has experienced this:
2 months ago my wife decided to lose a little [I don't mind, I love the softness every time she loses and her feeling of achievement in gaining control over her body seems to make her keen to gain again when the novelty wears off for her]
All that aside, this time has been different. Over the last year her capacity has increase, and what was once an occasional kinky stuffing, has turned in to a more than regular meal occurrence where 3 grilled cheese sandwiches were her regular breakfast until the start of March, washed down with a 600ml all cream late with a 2/3cup of sugar in it. TO deal with this we went with the route of cutting the simple sugars, white bread etc and slowly tapering her capacity whilst making sure she fills up with leafy greens with lemon juice and olive oil, buckwheat, buckwheat noodles, lean meats and fish, nuts, agave and carob for sweetness, and fresh fruits.
We've done this before, albeit at a lower capacity, and she's started to lose. However, this time, 2 months in, shes still gaining.
Now, we're both getting a bit older, but not much (shes nearly 36) and I've heard of slowing metabolisms etc, but, shes on less than 1600kcal a day at a push and usually around 1100kcal and yet, now 4 weigh ins later, although not gianing like she did last year, shes still up 4 lbs in 2 months. Not much, at her size, but still up.
I though maybe it's something muscular, but, her measurements are the same, and shes not been active in the 2 months. In dfact, we're at our holiday place where we drive and theres an elevator, vs walking up stairs to the bedrooms 4x a day etc like we were when she was gaining.
Has anybody experienced this or anything like it? Literally being on a limited diet, and cautiously counting the kcal etc and having no simple sugars in there; yet maintaining a gain.
I mean I'm not complaining, and neither is she really as she gets to feel like shes "eating healthily" and staying bigger, but, given how much effort we normally put in to maintain a wieght shes reached in a previous push, or to gain with the expense of double cream and all the big meals, it seems a little surreal to have an uptick with such a limited diet.

Healty and fat
Ace of spadez:
I want soft fat and not visceral but fast food is something I love. Any tips for gaining soft fat but still be able to stuff fast food. I like fast food hopping way too much to significantly cut back.

Do you like literal fast food or the taste of fast food.
At home, we do a lot of fried chicken, burgers, wings etc, but I make them:
Home made sauces like mayo (just use a stick blender an egg, oil and lemon juice), Ketchup , mustard.
smash burger style burgers are easy to make with just a ball of ground beef and a bun.
RE proper fast food (McDs, checkers, popeyes etc etc) theres a lot of shortcuts they take to achieve flavor fast and cheap including high amounts of High fructose corn syrup, white sugar, excess salting etc etc.
That high sugar and salt will do you no favors and you can get a similar bang for your buck if you put in the effort.
Home made smothered fries are easy to make and way less risky if a regular home made meal than a fast food joint meal.

Fattest person you ever had sex with

Wasn't my best, nor the heaviest, but she was 5'0 and around 310. Post breakup hookup with an ex who was 195 when we had last dated but had gotten engaged and started working at a call center. The comfort and sendetary lifestyle caught up with her over 5 years.
Was a regretably drunk and also just broken up from a failed attempt at a long term.
Brunch the next day after we woke up was great though.
If you're saying heaviest, then 320, but she was around my height, and I reckon a lot was muscle as she was active. Loved to do Runyon canyon in LA, was up early, worked in the valley but still partied at some good bars. That was probably my best out of marriage sexual experience.
One thing I would say for a slow, gradual gain by doing 3.5/4k a day over 6 years or so but staying mobile is that you get the weight gain, don't loose too much in health, and can really push that weight around.

Fat fetish research survey
LondonFA:
Just finished survey. I'd say under body categories for selves and adults you probably need more. For example, I grew up in a household of former olympic level sports people, my father and mother, post career both became body builders and owned a chain of gymnasia.
There is more than underweight, skinny, normal, chubby, obese etc in terms of body type.
PsychResearchFF:
Yes, this first survey has just been a simple one to get an outline on how to better detail the next few. I will be making much more detailed specific surveys in the coming days, along with more questions about the social and cultural influences people have experienced surrounding this fetish as a young age.
Thank you for taking the survey tho!

glad to be part of it.
Re the comment: It's that ithing in surveys with the balance of quantifiable answers, understandability and the need to not create a skew by having weighted questions.
"Normal" is a dangerous answer to have available as although it does allow for the isolation of an outsider in a set, it equally does not help in identification of the idea of paraphilias being from the "outside" of what people internally feel as sexually normal attraction.
I used myself as an example as "normal" for me as an army officer from a family of athletes, but equally being someone with family in rural florida and northern england, has no normal in a historic sense in body type. Fit, unfit, short, tall, fat, slim, they are all equally weighted, not just for me but for most in Europe and North America.
We are a highly migrant society with an increasingly broad influencer set from across our native linguistic media base.
We have Oprah and Ellen in common media; if looking at a visual "normal", that makes for a very broad topped curve and hence, to be sucessfully multi varied in analysis, having 'normal' as an answer without sufficient alternatives forces a skew and therefore eliminates all value in the data set.
