Haha that would be cool! Sometimes I do think it's a shame that some of the people I know best on here are so far away and unlikely to meet in person... But YAY... Technology making things better for everyone!

Hi all,
We tried this before, but due to Covid and such we decided to cancel / postpone a meet up.
Now that people seem to be doing more social things again. I think it would be great to revisit this and try and organise a casual meet up!
This is by no means an 'event' and more of a friendly meet and greet to get to know local people in the community.
I'm no longer in Manchester myself, but think it's still a great spot that's easy for us northern folks to get to, with lots on offer in relation to food and drinks!
I am proposing the first Saturday of July 2022. It's far enough away to help gather some interest and for people to save the date in their diary. So hopefully we can get a good number of people together!
If interested, then do post a reply in the forum. Suggestions on which pubs and places people might like to go are very much welcome!

Honestly more UK events and meet ups would be amazing. Back in the day it used to be Big Girls Paradise (BGP) and Biggies but they were based in London with BGP doing the occasional meet in Manchester.
Club Indulge took over the scene when both Biggies and BGP no longer continued with their club nights and Club Indulge does seem to be popular. I know they are mainly are based in London and have had Manchester events too, but I believe Bristol is a new location for them and I hope it goes well! You might even see hiccupx there as that's his area of the woods.
I've actually tried to arrange meet ups in the past, and we used to have someone who arranged Halloween parties but that was many years ago for FF.
I think the issue is that lots of people do tend to bail and initial interest shown online does not usually follow through with real life attendance. It's a huge commitment time wise and emotionally as an organiser who puts on an event or someone who spends their time trying to contact people and generate interest in a meet up, only for it to fall flat.
I've done it myself and had to cancel / postpone meetups. This could be because I was trying to organise things outside of London and in the North West. The scene is great down in London and many southern folk don't feel the need to travel elsewhere. Travelling is always a huge issue with the time and expense involved especially when you don't know if it's going to be a successful evening and people actually turn up. Can't image anything worse than someone turning up to a planned meet uo and then it's just me and one other person after forking out £150 for travel and a hotel.
I like the idea of having well known BBW personalities and models and an event. This could be something Fantasy Feeder does in the future. We have ways thought about doing official meets so you never know!
I think a more active and social community online would spoke the flames and maybe people might be up for attending events and meet ups again. We do seem to be pretty quiet over here in the UK sometimes, but we are here, and we should definitely make some noise and party more often!

What made you delete you're accounts?
I was young and got into a habit of just deleting my profiles *on all sorts of sites* when I got upset with people. Just a way of cutting myself off. I'm not so reactionary and quick to temper these days at the grand old age of 34 haha.

Can we please keep this thread on track. Such a lovely post by the OP. We don't need it to descend into personal attacks! Let's focus on the topic at hand...
I have been a member *a few deleted accounts or 5* since 2008! I always came back and similarly feel like this place is a big part of me and it's and natural relaxing place for me to come and hang and chat with like minded people.
I've been to a few meet ups in my time, so would say that's my favourite part. It's always great meeting people you have grown fond of and made friends with and transitioning that from online to real life.

Awesome! See you there!
Sorry to hear that some of you can't make it due to issues with travel / having prior plans... There's always next time!
Anyone else up for this, come on... You know you want to!!! 😊
