Welcome to August, hope everyone's summer is hot and sultry, or for folks in the Southern Hemisphere, hope you're having fun with those toilets spinning backwards. I know I would.
Thanks to everyone who participated in the Eavesdropping event last month -- if you didn't read Tayto's story and watch her videos, you *really* should. They were amazing.
Different tack this month, and we'll do the Q&A I threatened a little while back. Like all of our events, this is open to everyone, you don't need to feel like you're some kind of writing superstar to participate. Everyone is welcome.
I thought it might be fun for us to open up a little more about our history with writing, what we like to write about, and what we want to be when we grow up. So share as much or as little as you feel comfortable, and please feel free to comment and make it a discussion.
Questions shamelessly stolen from a blog are:
1. How long have you been writing?
2. What genre would you say you write?
3. Have you taken classes or received instruction for creative writing? What did you enjoy, and what did you dislike?
4. What are some of your favorite writing reference books?
5. What do you think is the biggest problem you need help with in your writing?
6. What are your writing goals for the next 12 months?

Letters And Numbers:
This thread is fine so far and interesting points all around, but if it turns into fighting or personal attacks against other users based on political or economic viewpoints (or any other kind of personal attacks), I’m going to moderate it.

I made it under the deadline!
fantasyfeeder.com/weight-gain-stories/view/title/the+party+line/author/Letters+And+NumbersSo just a quickie about someone listening in on a phone conversation, but I did get to play around with the new story title features, which are great. And if anyone hasn't seen, there's a dropdown menu at the top of every page now which makes navigating longer stories so much nicer. Great QOL changes!
I'd still love to get a couple more stories in about eavesdropping this month if anyone is interested in trying their hand. It's a judgement free zone!
