If I've removed such a report, rest assured I've sent them an age check, which I have indeed done so to her. Though she has not opened hers yet.

Guess who's getting Mega Evolutions? The original starter trio.
Video here:
Following the information from the Pokémon Direct, the official release has provided new details on the Pokémon. Mega Venusaur has the ability Thick Fat, Mega Charizard has the ability Drought and Mega Blastoise has the ability Mega Launcher which boosts its moves. It also confirmed that you will need to obtain a bracelet called the Mega Ring that holds a mysterious stone called a Key Stone. The Trainer’s Key Stone resonates with the Mega Stone held by his or her Pokémon
Also, new X and Y 3DS-XL's will be released:

Will do, I'll remember that for next time. 'Should have told him to drop it all in the first place, apologies.
And yeah, ugh, what's with all these obnoxious kids lately. Always crying when they don't get their way, whether it's Paaat or daz or whoever else.

Just posting links here to other useful past topics about it:
(coke and mentos)(Coke and Mentos)(new to coke and mentos bloat)And to quote
Wikipedia for some more info:
MythBusters reported that when fruit-flavored Mentos with a smooth waxy coating were tested in carbonated drink there was hardly a reaction, whereas mint-flavored Mentos (with no such coating) added to carbonated drink formed an energetic eruption, affirming the nucleation-site theory. According to MythBusters, the surface of the mint Mentos is covered with many small holes that increase the surface area available for reaction (and thus the quantity of reagents exposed to each other at any given time), thereby allowing CO2 bubbles to form with the rapidity and quantity necessary for the "jet"- or "geyser"-like nature of the effusion.
This hypothesis gained further support when rock salt was used as a "jump start" to the reaction. A paper by Tonya Coffey, a physicist at Appalachian State University in Boone, North Carolina, goes into detail on the reasons and physics behind the reaction. Coffey found that the rough surface of the Mentos candy helps speed the reaction. Coffey also found that the aspartame in diet soda lowers the surface tension and causes a bigger reaction, but that caffeine does not accelerate the reaction.
Hence diet sodas being the best to use, and why mint Mentos is used.
