Stuffing, in particular, stretches the guts, and extra weight presses air around, so yes, I believe the two are related.

Past 400 pounds, basically nothing inexpensive will fit properly. I feel like I need to take more body measurements beyond height and waist. Pant rise for belly pocketing, breast and back roll circumference for shirts, sleeve and leg measurements for pillowier limbs. Oh, and longer shirts for more belly yardage.
Everything rubbing and sweating all the time, growing new rolls like under my arms.
I also eat so much more and more often, and I've always been a fatty.

snack food isn’t as filling as it used to be… just like how candy bars have shrunk in size over time.
Great point, gotta eat more of them to be equal.

Garlic works, but it smells.

I'll say it again here: belly-heavy gainers should look for a large rise in pants. The distance between the bottom of your butt and the point on your stomach where jeans don't roll down is only getting bigger. And fatter.

Cost.
Both for clothes (running out of conventional stores),
And food (always wanting more.)

Continuing with this idea, if I was visiting a city I wasn't going to return to, I would love to go all out: wear a too-small food-stained tank top and stretchy shorts, waddle everywhere, tank up 7 to 8 times a day at fast food places, and act horrifically out of shape.
Oh, and use mobility scooters in stores, buying nothing but more carbs and calories.

Feeders, foodies, and fatties- Do you find helplessness hot? Like being unable to get up out of a low chair, or getting out of breath easily, and the resulting pity from it. I've gotten pity looks just walking by with a bulbous body.
