I get people who randomly message me sometimes, but it’s awful rare and I’m fairly visible on the forums, so people have a chance to run across my profile pretty often. I’ve made really great friends here, but they’re folks I’ve interacted with on the forums talking about hobbies or shared interests, it wasn’t just blind messages. I think Munchies is right, you get back what you give more often than not, and you have to put yourself in situations and places where you can show people who you are before you expect either a blind message or an answer to an unsolicited message. Particularly with the message limit. People aren’t going to spend a message on someone they don’t have a feel for.

I’m interested also. Is there a theme?

Bigwideland:
Hi,
I have lower leg skin rashes lately, have cortisol cream from doctor. It most likely mild Stasis Dermatitis. Do others have this and how do you manage it.
BWL.
Letters And Numbers:
This sounds weird, but after you put whatever cream on your doctor recommends, even if it's just lotion, wrap your legs in saran wrap and then put an ace bandage over it. It keeps the medication on your skin instead of having it rub off onto your clothing and takes care of stuff like that 10x as quickly. It's a little gross, ngl, but it works.
Munchies:
This isn't weird at all. This is actually a common medical practice.
I know, a dermatologist told me to do it. That’s why I recommended it.
