I tend to be rather neutral with it, not very fond of it though, but I do like Carol of the Bells as in Home Alone, as sarahjuana said.

I'd love to visit Darwin, and the Cape York / N. Queensland rainforests. And the Cocos/Keeling Islands are far to weird to miss. Also, my maternal family lived for a while in Victoria, and someday I'll get to visit their old hometown and see what things are like now, and find out more about how it was then.
True that, I meant more anywhere than the dreary valley which I inhabit. Melbourne and Perth probably would be good.
Someone once told a family member there was nothing to do in Darwin (where they worked for a time) but drink and they were bored out of their brains which put me off there, though I suppose the scenery might be nice and make it worth the visit, just not live and work there, haha.
