Hickups after overeating/chugging

Munchies:
If it's super uncomfortable, consider slowing down. That way, your body will be able to adjust to your capacity and you won't hiccup as much.

Mind you the downside of hiccuping on an overful stomach is that you can vomit it all back up. A waste of calories imo, but you do you.

Glitter Jelly:
Glad I found this thread this morning...

I got up late so I hadn't have time to eat breakfast this morning so I was having thin slices of turkey breast and swiss cheese in my car while driving to my destination.

I didn't overeat (at least I don't think so) but I ate so fast I had a few hiccups and then it felt like the food was stuck somewhere in between my mouth and stomach. It was more than uncomfortable... painful almost.

I thought maybe I should drink something to help wash it down but I didn't because was too afraid I'd vomit in my car (yucky and triggering to me because I used to purge when I was anorexic).

I stopped at the rest area and prepared for the inevitable but as I was hunching over to puke... nothing happened. I felt relieved that the food stayed down.

I have 2 slices to go but I'll have small bites and take time to swallow instead of rolling them, barely chewing and swallowing... I've had my lesson.

Is it possible that my belly roll when sitting in pushing up some on my stomach and makes it more likely that this will happen?

I've always been a fast eater even during my ED, and this had never happened to me (but back then I was so skinny you could actually see my stomach stretch out when I ate more than a few bites).

I say this with peace and love, but you need to get out of your head. You are not fat. You are not close to fat. At most, you are midly overweight.

Your belly roll is not impacting your physical welbeing. You are nowhere near fat enough for your belly roll to impact anything but your clothes being too small and maybe not being as bendy flexy as you could be.

In your case, you at too fast. Your body got confused as to if you were swallowing or breathing and bugged out. This would have happened at any size.

Vitamins

BigBallBellyGirl:
When I regained weight, I put on over 400 pounds in 3.5 years through stuffing multiple times a week, eating 10 to 25,000 calories a day even when not stuffing, and a steady diet of bread, cheese, pasta, pizza, potatoes, and fast food. I was just over 600 lb when I had going to the hospital with a cardiac emergency, but I had vitamin deficits of vitamin B, C, potassium, and magnesium. It's definitely very possible to have a massive calories surplus and a vitamin deficit.

I get into a shocking number of arguements with people in and out of the community about malnutrition in obese people. They conflate being fat with starving.

If you got fat while not eating a balanced diet or not taking a multi-vitamin, the missing nutrients are not going to magically spawn into you. You still have to comsume them.

Fun reminders of your weight at work

Glitter Jelly:
I will check out your link.

It says > 25 is too high for a woman, this year it was 27 in March, 30 in July and 33 in October...

A high prolactin can also make you gain weight. I'm freaking out.

Breathe, girl. Breathe

1. This is fixable.

2. You are not a failure for gaining weight.

3. You are not going to die.

You know your prolactin levels are high, but you don't know why. Keep advocating for yourself, and you will find the answers you seek. In the meantime, you can do some symptom management at home. It will make things more bearable.

Before I went to the doctor for an official PCOS diagnosis, I did at-home symptom management. Sure, it didn't cure me, but it helped me to function better. If I didn't do it, I think I would have been an invalid in bed full of pain.

And lean on your partner for support. It sounds like he cares deeply for you and your wellbeing. Remember that you are not alone. You have people in your life who are willing to step up and help you. You need to let them.

Fun reminders of your weight at work

Chubby Cow:
I can get winded going up hills & stairs. It’s easier for me to walk than to run. Running just gets me very winded, very quickly.

Having a full belly at work, really makes it easier to feel my fat jiggle.

My fat thighs & belly hang will chaff if I don’t put fabric between them.

My under boobs & belly hang fold can gets sweaty. Plus I can feel my belly hang being lifted up by my thighs if I walk.

Munchies:
As a member of the big titty committee, keep that area as dry as possible.

Underboob rash is hell.

Glitter Jelly:
My doctor doesn't seem worried about my elevated prolactin even though if all my dresses and tops are getting really tight in the chest.

At 140 lbs my boobs are already as big as they were at my highest weight (180+ lbs)!

I felt so invalidated I couldn't stop crying at the last appointment. He prescribed another blood test for my vitamin D and calcium because both were a little low last time.

As a pharmacist I feel the hormonal imbalances are way more important?!? After I insisted he eventually added another prolactine and PTH (which also was elevated)...

I'm sorry, love. As a person who grew up with a lot of health issues, I know how that feels.

The best thing you can do is do your research and advocate for yourself. In the interim, there are things you can do to lower your prolactin levels. I won't say it will fix the issue, but it will reduce it.

Fun reminders of your weight at work

Raven:
I noticed that my back has been hurting a bit when I bend over to vacuum at the end of my shift. I have to sit down in a chair to clock out after I clean up for the day because my lower back hurts. Today I was huffing and puffing just walking the vacuum back to the other side of the room. It felt like I had ran a bit. xD Made me happy though, that just means I'm getting fatter and out of shape since I mainly sit now at my new job.

There are belly slings and wraps you can wear for quality of life. Some go under your shirt while some go over it. It's very helpful if you have to do a lot of bending over.

I really want to be fat

Okfriendship342:
I am a person who has always been of normal weight. I have a strong desire for food and I would like to take the step and be a fat person, but social pressure is what holds me back. How do I take the step?

Start by getting over your hang ups with social pressure. If you gain weight but are preoccupied with people judging you, you'll freak out and lose the weight,

Gotta make your peace knowing you can't control what other people think about you. But at the same time, their opinions about you don't matter. Once you get to that point, you are ready to get fat.

Mangobananashake:
My hormones are messed up from gaining so I would suggest you do not ignore the importance of nutrition! Get supplements IF you are not getting enough, like Vit D. Reversing the damage is a pain.

Here here

I have seen a number of gainers and feedees play fast and loose with their health in the name of getting fat. Never ends well.

Your body takes note of whatever damage you do to yourself and repays you with interest. Anyone over the age of 30 can vouch for this.

Vitamins

Milanesa:
I was discussing gaining methods with someone, they talked about using vitamins (C and b complex) for a week then cutting them off
Supposedly that withdrawal made them gain weight
Anyone has any experience or knowledge regarding that to back it up?

Don't do this. Your body needs both to function. Being malnurished leads you to getting sick. And if your normal diet gives you enough vitamin C and B complex, taking supplements is a waste of time and money.
