Also, forgot to mention this above, but I've actually broken my bed...not once or even twice. But three times. The first breakage wasn't totally my fault. I had three friends over and we were playing video games in my room all three of us were on the bed and Crrrrrrrunch!!down the back right corner of it goes. After that though the other two were my fault...and I didn't even sit down on it quickly. I was just sitting and smashy smashy >,<

Not a month ago (and before we carry on, I play WoW. I admit it now deal with it! I know, right? smiley x) My GM and I had just taken a break from a raid we were in and really rushed to do what we needed to do and get back fast so we weren't holding the rest of group up. Long story short, I come rushing in, can of pepsi in one hand, bag of doritos in the other ... completely missed computer chair and, as I lost balance, put the glass coffee table I had only that week finished paying off into a pile of crumbling shards on the floor! Gutted is not the word :'( ... but in a "yay for me" kinda way! smiley

In my defense technically not my fault as I was rushing back for the good at all! smiley

lol nice one, Though I can say I've never destroyed a table...lots of chairs though *eyes go glassy* So many chairs

Favorite deep-thinking-philosophical film?

If you don't mind subtitles, there are a lot of great films out there. For example, there was an outpouring of brilliant films from Iran for quite a while, from directors like Makhmalbaf and Kiarostami and others... The censorship made them work in allegories, some of which are quite beautiful.

That's right Juicy, this brings to mind another great existentialist movie. Pans Labyrinth, this movie is great because after a while you're not sure which aspect of the story is more true.

And also Legends of the Fall is a good movie *this one is in english though*, very much a rendition of the whole Prodigal Son theme.

If you haven't seen it yet the Gran Turismo, definitely a movie with philosophical applications.

I had to do a paper on the "Alegory of the Cave" last year. This gives me extra incentive to actually see The Matrix.

Yea, the concept behind the matrix is almost exactly parrallel to the concept that Plato conveyed in his famous Allegory

Is my bf enjoying my weight gain?

It's hard to say if he's a full on FA but he's certainly not against it that's for sure lol.

The only way to know for sure is to find some way to breach the subject with him and ask for yourself...

The stupid things we do

I do all sorts of crazy things. I constantly lock my keys in my car, read this as at least 3 times ever 6 months. When I get my stuff together to go somewhere, especially on a long trip like when I go to visit my parents or the return trip of the afforementioned I always ALWAYS forget something...usually my phone but once I forgot the bag in which I had packed my underwear...which could have been really bad...

A fetish, a paraphilia, or an eating disorder?

I would definitely class this as a Fetish, though it could also be called a paraphilia because by definition paraphilia is only a sexual that is anomalous, i/e considered to be deviant.

Though, having said that, paraphilia is generally reserved for things that are considerably more damaging than weight gain to the involved parties.

And Maxie—I’m getting a bit tired of “Oh, this site is run by a single person, so anything that goes wrong should be excused.” This site is NOT run by whoever the person is who owns the site—it’s actually run by (what I assume) are volunteers like you and Ms.Ripples.

That's not what we mean when we state that this site is owned and opperated by one person. And actually what most of the mods do is make sure members obey the rules. We have little to do with deciding how the site is run, unless Hiccup asks us our opinions.

Hiccup takes care of all the programming/maintenance and lots of other stuff that just doesn't really come to mind right now. We, the mods, are mostly PR peeps...or you could think of us as enforcer *Darth Vader anyone lol* which I guess would make Hiccupx Emperor Palpatine. *I'm sorry H, no offence meant...the idea just popped into my head and it made lol so much I had to post it...*
