Gah, just what this country needs another proceedure to kill the overweight. The people who thought these two "miracle" devices up need to be curb-stomped...

"Fat cat is a political term originally describing a rich political donor, also called an angel or big money man.
The New York Times has described fat cats as symbols of "a deeply corrupt campaign finance system riddled with loopholes", with Americans seeing them as recipients of the "perks of power", but able to "buy access, influence policy and even veto appointments."
It is also commonly used to describe a rich, greedy person who, due to ownership of large amounts of capital, is able to "live easy" off the work of others.
It has NOTHING to do with obesity or being fat. Honestly. Is this going to be like homo sexual people getting all pissy when someone says, "That is so gay."? Can I freak out when someone says, "You want to go straight through this light." or "Yes, I would like some crackers with my soup." Words change, people talk how they are taught. You are upset because the word "fat" is used in something that is not "positive."
It pisses me off that bologna is spelled the way it is, because it in NO WAY sounds like it is spelled.
I am all for equal rights, but if you are going to be upset about something like this, where will it stop? Trans Fats are bad. Made up, but bad. Will FA people freak out and demand they are called "Trans Oils" or something?
Don't be stupid. Your post makes NO sense.
Wooo! Bazinga!!
I was totally going to post the same thing here but you beat me too it Ruby

When you start to be able to pinch the flesh on your fingers between your thumb and forefinger.
You'll notice your cheeks getting fuller before you develope a double chin
Other than that not much I can think of...OH and when you can get your forefinger into your belly-button beyond the first joint!

For me, In a perfect world *no health risks, junk food for free, etc, etc* I wouldn't mind gaining to 800lbs or more *eyes go all misty...snaps out of it*
But in reality I think I'm probably as fat as I'm going to get right now. I was diagnosed with type II diabetes in July and have already lost a significant amount of weight since then, *read this nearly 90lbs*.
But I can still dream

As people have already said here carbs carbs carbs. Carbohydrates are the bodies main fuel source and of the three; carbs, fats, and protiens. The body can break down carbs the easiest.
That being said though don't count out fat, it has just over twice as many calories associated with it than the other two. To gain weight cheaply and quickly I'd suggest a diet that's high and carbs AND fats.

When for you the word diet means extra Hot Fudge Sundaes rather than lettuce and carrots.

If I have a pimple/blister/scab on me somewhere I find it hard to leave it alone...even if it's the "bleedin" type.
I tend to click my teeth when I'm just sitting around staring off into space.
I have a habit of pulling strange faces without even thinking about it, especially when playing video games *I've been told I'm quite hilarious to watch when I play Guitar Hero or Rock Band*
When I'm bored I'll tap the tunes to various songs out on tables and what-not
I'm one of them leg-jigglers too *and not just cause they're flabby lol*
I always pop my knuckles and I constantly crack my neck...

The smell of light menthol cigarettes and some old perfume brings back strong memories for me. Makes me think of my Granny, oh that woman spoiled me rotten when I was younger haha. I used to get off the school bus at her house ever evening.

I hear what you're saying Angel, sometimes when I eat ridiculously miniscule amounts at dinner my sugar is 20 points HIGHER the next day. And it appears that about half the time when I eat about 50g of carbohydrates for my last meal of the day my sugar drops. This confuses me so much cause if I eat just a little bit more or a bit less even my sugar jumps a little the next day.
Yeah my mother in law told me that you need to eat something small like some peanut butter on a cracker before bed. The liver for some reason thinks you need more sugar released while you sleep even though we already have too much in our system. The cholesterol pill messes with the liver so I think that's why that causes higher morning sugar too for me... I'm hoping avoiding beef keeps me from needing the meds for that...
Diabetes is a very cruel disease imho, it limits carbs which forces you to eat things with higher fat content which can lead to other problems down the road...it's just no good I wish it would go away
