So, just to be clear, what causes a person to gain a gut or visceral fat?


Because when I first started gaining it mostly went to my belly but recently it’s been mostly my chest.

If I wanted more belly what would I eat to get that? Or conversely, if I wanted bigger breasts what would I eat for that?

Basically I just eat whatever I want but it’s news to me that I should be considering what I eat depending on the body shape I desire.

Answers to this would be helpful for others. Although this info is probably already out there and I’m too lazy to find it

Here's some advice I've posted for gaining primarily subcutaneous fat:
"I suggest overeating foods with high amounts of the long chain saturated fatty acids palmitic and stearic acid as these fats help reduce visceral fat. Dairy fat and cacao butter have lots of them so they're good for gaining primarily subcutaneous fat. Lots of gainers like using heavy cream to gain. Omega-6 fatty acids(linoleic acid(most of soybean oil)) interfere with that beneficial effect and cause visceral fat gains so I recommend minimizing that. Alcohol and sugar(especially fructose) cause visceral fat gains too so only have them in moderation. If you have carbs, try to opt for whole over refined. The fiber helps lower visceral gains."

If you want to gain visceral fat, do the opposite of that. The soft fat in your chest is part of the subcutaneous fat deposit BTW.

Also, you may want to be careful with visceral fat gains. Excess visceral fat deteriorates your metabolic health and may make you develop metabolic syndrome. Excess subcutaneous fat on the other hand is metabolically benign.

Anyone else here turned on by the idea of girdles?

To elaborate, the gainer wearing a girdle in public because they’re ashamed of their gains and want to hide it. They are able to pull it off for awhile however, the girdle does not hold very long and ends up tearing at one point, revealing just how big they actually are. Either that or they are accidentally caught without their girdle on at one point.

Yeah, I can definitely feel you. My sister is the one who’s been piggybacking on me for my gain most of all. Tbh sometimes I like the teasing and name calling but other times it’s genuinely hurtful. Also, sorry to hear you lost your job. : (

I’ve really always wanted a paunch and I can’t seem to grow one. I’ve eaten so much, even when I don’t want to for the past two weeks. Ive gained 3 pounds but little change in appearance otherwise. smiley
