What can I do to get a rounder belly? I love my belly hang but I look so flat. Like is there any way to get my belly to go more to the front? Like maybe slow gaining vs quick gaining or something?
A lot of it really comes down to genetics. But, I noticed that Gurgle Goddess and Fat Megan Fox on instagram both brink beer a lot. And they have that perfect spherical ball belly. Maybe try that.

My entire extended family is from Louisiana, and my uncles love to hunt, so I've been around game meat since I was a child. Venison, rabbit, and squirrel were the most common, all of which are delicious. I moved to Pennsylvania in 2010 and never really got into hunting myself, so most of the meat I eat nowadays comes from either the grocery store or the Internet, but I still eat a lot of venison and rabbit because they're relatively easy to find commercially. Squirrel on the other hand is impossible to find; I've been searching for years to no avail. I miss it so much haha.
Anyway, I'd highly recommend those as a place to start. Alligator and turtle are fantastic as well, though I'm not sure if they meet the technical definition of "game."

La. native here and come from a hunting/fishing family, so I can relate to all of it :-)
Deer roasts slow-smothered in a cast iron pot (much like you’d do a beef roast) are the best. If done right, you’d never know it was wild game.
I’ve had fried alligator tail before. Has a texture much like chicken (the old saying is true, ha) but is best wrapped tightly and refrigerated a while.
Both sounds delicious. The tail of an alligator the only part that’s edible?

Your family sounds lit. I’m from the city so hunting was never a thought. Now, I’m trying research if it’s possible to hunt with your bare hands 😅. Meat from the internet? I didn’t know you could do that. Also, remember when I mentioned that I initially thought it was inhumane to eat game? Rabbit was one of the reasons why? I don’t think I could bring myself to eat one 😅😅😅. I don’t know if I could bring myself to eat squirrels or raccoons either. Although, I heard they’re both delicious. Nah I looked up game meat and I think alligator is considered game.
IJDS:
Please do not try to hunt with your bare hands. Or with a bow. Or with anything other than a sufficient calibre gun aimed at the heart/ lungs. Bushcraft is neat, but hunting should take every effort to minimise suffering.
Oh wow. I didn’t think about that. You’re right.
To be honest with you, I don’t think I have the heart to kill an animal outside of self defense anyway.

Although lamb is fully a domesticated meat, it still has a tendency to be gamey. As I understand it that's mainly because while gaminess is often a product of how the lifestyle of the game has caused its muscles to develop (A concept I imagine you will be highly familiar with), sheep kind of cheat by having a different type of fat to cattle and pigs that gives it a gamier taste. To that effect, I imagine a wild shot duck would have a gamier flavour than one raised for poultry.
Although there have been attempts to farm Bison for meat (understandably not the easiest thing to keep in an enclosure, even with metal walls), a lot the meat will come into the market following controlled hunts in reserves that keep the wild population manageable. I imagine these would absolutely be gamey if you could get your hands on it.
Loool! I caught that comment in parentheses. You know what? You just inspired me to do a science experiment if you will on the muscle density of a wild animal vs a domestic animal. I never even considered that there would be a difference between the two. As to your Lamb comment, that would make sense why I didn't care for it. It felt too tough. I thought my aunt and uncle just didn’t cook it long enough. Hm…maybe lambs walk more often, while pigs and cows are confined making them more sedentary? This is very interesting. That actually helps me mentally prepare for the gamey taste. Thank you 🙏🏾 💪🏾

I'm not sure how easy game meat is to come by in butchers there, if you live in a pretty urban area it may be that you have to ask around a bit.
There's a reason why the term 'gamey' exists, if you go in mentally prepared for something resembling a domesticated meat like pork, beef or chicken you might end up with a clenched up throat and wonder if something's gone off. Lamb is pretty widely available and is often described as gamey, I'd recommend starting there to get an idea of if it's something you'd like.
Oh ok. I have had Lamb for Passover, I didn’t really care for it. But wouldn’t Lamb be considered domesticated? Also, is duck considered game or does it depend on the duck? Cause I had duck in 2022. Is Bison considered game too?

Has any one here eaten game meat before?
I never even considered it. Even thought it was bit inhumane. But ever since I found out that one of my favorite anime characters preferred food is venison, boar, wild duck, and pheasants. Now, I want to try! 😅😅😅

I'm sure this will be familiar to many here and many will have similar experiences: you tell someone you like you're an FA and they don't take it well. It's happened to me quite a few times and I'm wondering if it happened again today... Sucks, doesn't it?
Personally? This doesn’t happen to me. In my experience, people are usually relieved, some have even blushed when they find out that I’m attracted to fat bodies.

1. Explain the topic that you chose.
The topic I chose to research is obesity because it seems to be a major topic in America lately, particularly on social media.
2. What 2 news sources did you choose to watch or read? Why did you choose these sources?
I looked up two different news sources, CNN and Fox News, because they are well-known but often have different perspectives on various topics.
3. Were they biased in any way? Meaning, did the person reporting on the issue seem to have a preference for or against the issue? If so how? If not, explain how they did not.
Yes, while CNN’s article focused on the health risks of obesity, showing medical research and expert opinions on how obesity increases the probability of heart disease and diabetes. And Fox News, spoke on obesity from an economic point of view, discussing how rising obesity rates lead to higher healthcare costs for taxpayers, both parties didn’t take other variables into account. Which makes both outlets biased in my opinion. While neither source seemed extremely biased, CNN leans towards government intervention and public health policies, while Fox News highlighted personal responsibility in maintaining a healthy lifestyle. Here lies the problem, what is healthy? What does that mean? Does it mean body weight or body fat? Does it mean eating foods that are considered healthy as opposed to junk food? Because there’s dozens of skinny people who eat junk food. Are they still healthy despite not being classified as obese? What about bodybuilders? According to Body mass index, a bodybuilder would be categorized obese despite living a healthy lifestyle.
4. Did they show any evidence or sources to back up their claims?
Both outlets included creditable sources from expert opinions and research studies.
CNN naturally cited studies from medical journals and of course Fox News referenced economic analysts and policy experts.
5. Why is it important for news sources to report on this issue without any bias?
It is important for media outlets to report on obesity without bias so the public can make informed decisions based on factual information rather than political or ideological viewpoints. This is how phobias are created. In this particular case, fat phobia. This literally why the Fat Acceptance and Body Positivity Movements got started because women are tired of being bullied on for their weight due to weaponized misinformation about health and wellness for the sole purpose of bias against plus sized women. Because think about it, heavyset male celebrities are never accused of promoting obesity. The Hip Hop Culture proved this with rappers such as Biggie Smalls aka Notorious B.I.G, Heavy D, Fat Joe, Big Punisher, The Fat Boys etc. This obesity outrage only became a problem when public figures like Tess Holiday began gracing the cover of Cosmopolitan Magazine. Or when singer, Lizzo became a mainstream performer. And then the public literally fat shamed and bullied her into losing weight. This begs the question, does America honestly care about health or do they care about maintaining misogyny?
