What are the best categories for organizing our stories?

Are there any librarians in the membership that can help us out?

LoraDayton:
Not library systems, but I do handle data management and this kind of organization a lot for a day job so if you're serious about asking for help I can definitely assist.

Definately! How wouild you categorize our stories. Please post below.

What are the best categories for organizing our stories?

John Smith:
Or does it?

Santiago:
It's just a thought maybe I'm wrong

Yes of course, the idea of having categories is to try and organise stories with similar themes into groups to make it easier to find the stories that most appeal to you.

To keep things simple, I would say we need no more that around 8 top level categories, with no more than around 8 sub-categories in each.

The task here is to try and find the most obvious categorys, and then give each one an intuitive name.

Thanks for everyone's help so far, there's been some great suggestions but I don't think we're there quite yet. Are there any librarians in the membership that can help us out?

What are the best categories for organizing our stories?

We are currently in the process of re-categorizing the stories to make them easier to search. To do this we logged the searches currently being made and came up with a number of keywords that people are looking for. We then organized the keywords into groups and this has given us some draft categories, however we still feel some further refinement is needed to make the categories more intuitive. Here are the categories (and sub-categories) we have so far:

Humiliation:
* Teasing, Punishing, Obeying, Forcing
* Toilet, Farting, Baby, Diaper
* Spoilt, Rich Girl, Princess
* Animal-like (Pork, Piggy, Pig, Hog, Cow, Milk, Animal, Livestock, Breed, Farm, Market)

Transformation:
* Fit to Fat
* Feminization
* Feeder to Feedee
* Weight gain (Gaining, XWG, Immobility, Obesity, Reunion)
* Breeding (Pregnancy, Family)

Personal Experiences:
* First person (POV, Diary, Dream)
* Lacking control (Addict, Bad Habits, Denial, Hypnosis)
* Competitive (Contest, Competition, Bet, Prize)

Family/Relationships:
* Parent/adolescent (Mummy, Daddy, Grandma, Stepmother)
* Pampering/indulging (Paradise, Lazy, Holiday, Home, Dumpling, Dough, Nerd, Pet, Princess, Prince, empathy, Feeding)
* Peer relationships (Wife, Husband, Sister, Brother, Girlfriend, Boyfriend, Friends, Friend, Mutual, Couple)
* Secret feeding, Helpless, Weak

College Fiction:
* Teacher/Student
* Freshman/Jock/Cheerleader
* Roommates

Thriller:
* Revenge (Cheating Partner, Jealous Stepsister, Envious Friend)
* Kidnapping (Blackmail, Captive, Captured)

Horror:
* Vore (Canibalism, Meat, Death)
* Supernatural/Paranormal (Witch, Ritual, Halloween, Curse)
* Master/Slave (Mistress, Master, Slave, Servant)

Science Fiction:
* Quarantine (Vaccination, Pandemics, Lock Down, Big Brother)
* Apocalypse (Aliens, End of World)
* Experiments (Medical, Scientific, Pills, Doctors)

Adult Rating:
* PG|, Adult

* Do your own stories easily fit into one or more of the categories above?
* How would you categorize the above to make it as intuitive as possible?

Website rebranding 20/04/2021

finickyfeedee:
The new aesthetic is nice but it is very glitchy on mobile. It is difficult to navigate the site because site elements overlap each other nonstop and make it difficult to read and/or click anything. I don’t think this is intentional. If the site can return to being functional then I’d have no problem with the update as far as I can tell, and I appreciate the hard work, but right now I don’t like the new design at all because it has broken the website.

MustBecomegluttonous:
A temporary fix is to refresh the page. But yes this is a bug I'm having problems with to. Hope they find a fix soon.

You may need to hard refresh your browser, or clear your mobile cache. It will clear eventually anyway but doing it manually will speed things up.

On PC or laptop when viewing the website press Ctrl + F5. Clearing the cache on mobile depends on your browser and device, but some instructions for popular models can be found in the following link: sleeplessmedia.com/2016/04/20/how-to-hard-refresh-on-a-mobile-device/.

Curveman:
I love the Dark mode.
Love the new look but just noticed there are no user names showing in the most popular pictures section for some reason.

Thanks for pointing this out. The user names should now be fixed.
