Tips, tricks, and encouragement welcome

HedonIsHim:
I decided I wanted to know what it would feel like to really let go. To indulge in any eating fantasy I wanted. That was the end of April last year...

I am head over heals. I love the euphoric stuffed feeling. I've done 65lbs worth of damage by myself so far.

Is it really damge, tho?

Anything to do against acid reflux from heavy cream?

Ceepert:
So I am having issues gaining by just eating alot. I am already at 150 kilos and it seems just eating alot doesnt do it anymore.

I did try heavy cream mixed with chocolat milk or sugar a bit back and that helped a ton. Gained 2 kilos it 2 weeks, but it left me with bad acid reflux every morning after I drank some. I have some chewing pills for it, but it barely helps.
Are there any tips on how to avoid the acid reflux caused by heavy cream? Some food that balances out whatever inbalance is happening from drinking it?

Heavy cream might not be for you. I know some people do better with it as a cooking ingredient. But you may have to accept that there's too much fat in heavy cream for you to handle.

What's everyone's results for heavy cream.

FuntimesGettingFat:
Hello, I saw some talk about heavy cream and thought "Hey why not ask and see what they say?" So yea what have been yalls results.

I've had two feedees gain with heavy cream. I had a feedee who had a medical condition where a high fat diet would make him sick, so bare that in mind.

One feedee could chug that stuff like it was water, but he'd do it at the expense of eating a nutritional diet.

Don't do that.

The other one, my current partner, used it as a calorie supplement. He also discovered that it's easier to consume heavy cream if you cook with it instead of drink it. Put some in sauces, pasta dishes, desserts, etc. It's a lot more paletable than just chugging it. You can make the most nutritious meals more calorie with some heavy cream.

He gained with no issues.

Don't overdo it with the heavy cream.

Is there policy on ai?

Munchies:
Yeah, I'm not looking forward to that. People are going to get taken advantage of, and more vulnerable members of the community will be hurt the most. But at the same time, there's only so much admin will be able to do.

Kry5t47B477:
That's true. Idk how photo filtering works on the back end, but maybe they could use something that omits it. I don't know if that would be too expensive or not.

Ultimately, I'm just surprised they haven't said anything about it.

I'll have to look for it, but the site owner, hiccupx, has addressed this in some capacity already. AI is allowed on the platform so long as it doesn't violate pre-existing rules. However, he is considering a more comprehensive policy regarding AI. No update on that one way or another as this has been a relatively recent conversation.

Developing a dependence on food - how?

HRHB15:
I’ve never used Eat Mor but I’ve thought about it. I tried Apetamin years ago for about three days and it scared me how tired it made me so I quit. I also have gotten nervous about trying some that may contain THC because I get drug tested at work plus the legal status of THC in my state. I haven’t heard of Gain. Couldn’t really find much searching for it either.

I don’t have a lot of issues not wanting to eat unless I’m just stuffed. I am curious how much it might push my limit up as far as stuffing. These past couple weeks I have gotten uncomfortably full a few times.

Good luck increasing your appetite.

Not to preach to the crowd, but there's a reason why Apetamin has been banned in a lot of countries. Apetamin works because it has cyproheptadine - an antihistamine that carries a hefty amount of side effects. Here's a bit more about how it works:

medicalnewstoday.com/articles/apetamin#summary

You can try Eat Mor or some other weight gain supplement. Those tend to be safe. That said, if you are wanting to push yourself, you might have better results with capacity training. Weight gain supplements are best if you are trying to hit calorie goals. Capacity training makes it easier to eat more food overall.

Is there policy on ai?

Kry5t47B477:
I understand that fighting against AI would be an uphill battle that would bog down the mods, and ultimately distract from other issues, but is there anything written about the website's stance on it? I keep seeing gross, almost offensive, AI generated schlock. Personally, I do not think these images should count against your view allotment (considering that they're not real), and also there's the whole theft thing. You cannot copyright AI images, so I'm not sure where that leaves y'all.

Maybe implement something that says all AI images *must* be marked as AI?

Munchies:
There needs to be one. There's a sizable chunk of people who are happy to use AI in feedist spaces - each with wildly varying intentions. I especially see catfish and scammers using AI images once publicly available programs that look photorealistic hit the market.

I know that right now most people see AI as an amusing yet substandard alternative to what people can make themselves. But recent technology shows there needs to be a policy sooner rather than later.

Kry5t47B477:
Agreed. I know people are going to do what they do when it comes to making their own fantasy content-- is it ethical? No, but in that case I think there are bigger (cat)fish to worry about.

Once Sora offshoots become available the community is going to be taken for a bumpy ride that will sow even more distrust amongst members.

Developing a dependence on food - how?

Munchies:
And what are you going to do about it? Eat three packages? Channel your inner Santa Claus and go on a milk and cookie binge until you pass out?

HRHB15:
Lol. Don’t tempt me… 🐷

Why eat a package of cookies, when you could eat two?

HRHB15:
That’s naughty… 😂
