I'm still on the smaller side (220 but a fair bit of that is muscle so not much of my weight is in my belly) but now that I'm actively gaining weight it's the little things that stand out to me the most. Like I have to work a lot harder to reach down to grab something, and my center of mass has changed so I've had to change the way I stand up from sitting on the floor. Also this is hard to describe but just the act of taking up more space is a really weird feeling. Like I've gained weight before when I was putting on muscle, but muscle is much denser than fat so even though I was heavier I wasn't really that much bigger. But now after putting on 25 lbs of fat since the beginning of this year, there's a weird disconnect between how much space my brain thinks I take up versus how much I actually take up.

Glitter Jelly:
Haven't been able to lose any weight because I've been sleeping at my bf most nights which means I'm still waking up and eating at night. Will see an endocrinologist in December, I'm almost hoping something is wrong with my health so this can be medically fixed. I feel so uncomfortable in everything, I dread going out of my home now. But staying in means I'm moving even less and I need to start exercising even if it's just walking more... My bf says I need to jog and walking isn't exercise, but I have bad memories of PE classes from being a fat child/teenager...
To be completely blunt your bf is flat out wrong there, any type of movement outside of your normal routine is exercise. And it's actually better if you start off slow, that way it doesn't shock your system too bad and ruin your moral. I would recommend going on walks throughout your neighborhood (or a treadmill if you have access to one) and time your walks. Each time you do this you want to try to walk for a little longer than the time before. Then once your body adjusts to this start speed walking for sections of it. Speed walk until you physically can't anymore and then walk for as long as you feel safe. Then after this do the same thing but with jogging, and then after that you can try sprinting. And there's a reason people refer to this as a fitness journey. Don't get discouraged if it takes months if not a year to reach the goals that you set for yourself. You'll make progress eventually.

Either people are really bad at guessing other people's weight or fat is so stigmatized people try to sugar coat things when talking about weight. I still get people who are shocked to find out I'm over 200 lbs

FeederOni:
in all fairness
in my Campaigns (i am the DM) I often have at least one BBW or SSBBW character that is useful to the party or if i mkake the character for myself, it makes sense
A fat Orc or Golaith who is trained in the way of the sumo is one idea
or a pig beastman
I make it work and make sense as to why a BBW or SSBBW can go toe to toe with a golden dragon
See that makes sense, in a lot of survival situations having added body fats helps ward off starvation and it can protect the body from some degree of harm. Also spellcasters don't necessarily need to be the most nimble so having them be ssbbw/ssbhm won't affect their effectiveness in combat. So I'm definitely pro body positivity in games. Im just afraid of adding kink to tabletop games as that can lead to some degree of awkwardness in the group

What about the Ogres from Warhammer? They are a bunch of foodies.
True, but if we're going to talk about cultures in a fantasy setting thats based around stuffing I prefer the gnolls from D&D. They're whole deal is that they were once Hyena's that would follow armies eating the dead bodies left behind from war and they would eat until they were so stuffed that they could no longer move until their god would pop them like a pimple and they get reborn as hyena people
(Also bonus points to that one ogre in Baldurs Gate 3 that ate a person who was wearing a circlet of intelligence, which made him smarter so now he thinks the more he eats the smarter he'll get.)

It's interesting the article mentions exercising increases your capacity to store fat. I've been advocating for feedees to exercise more since I've joined this site so it's interesting to learn more about the benefits of it. I'm also curious to know the extremes of it. Like if you had a 400 lbs person in the study who worked out regularly, how healthy would they be considered. I'd also like to know if this would improve the quality of life for those who are really up there in weight, would exercising more have a notable effect on their mobility or is it that once you get up to a certain weight it doesn't matter how athletic you are your body is just too heavy? That's probably outside of the scope of a study like this but I'm still curious

Ever played in Scarred Lands?
One of the Titans is Garruck the Glutton. His followers eat special melons and become Fatlings (basically sumo wrestlers.)
Interesting, I don't play too many TTRPG's outside of D&D, so I was just coming up with ways to be a feedee in that system. I'm curious though if there's any other spell or magic item combos in D&D or other tabletop games that would allow your character to gain weight

There's a dollar tree just down the block from my work, between the $1 candies and the 75c soda from the gas station across the street. I can get 1500 calories just for a few bucks

I would be lying to say I didn’t bake the whole office cookies without certain thoughts of someone getting too fat for their suit
I always enjoy it when my boss brings us sweets, most of my coworkers are complete health nuts and don't eat anything, so it allows me to sneak in a couple extra without anyone noticing. I can't be known as the work fatty just yet

I'm glad in this story it was a non-fetish thing because kink at a DND table is usually awkward for everyone. Luckily it's never been brought up at any of my tables but a good friend of mine has told me horror stories from a game ran by her ex (at the time bf) that basically turned into a sex dungeon which made the women at the table very uncomfortable.
But as a side note, feedees in faerun would be eating well. Between spells like good berry (one berry gives you enough nourishment to fill you for a day and 1 first level spell slot gives you 10, so that's minimum over 20,000 calories with one spell) or heroes feast (which is an all you can eat buffet that lasts for one hour and has enough food for 12 people). Or if you're a powerful enough wizard you can skip all that and cast true polymorph on yourself to set you size however you'd like.
Also again please never actually bring this up at an actual DND table unless you know all players are into this AND would want it in their game, otherwise you'll run the entire game experience. I just brought this up as food for thought
