It depends on what is being censored and why. Censoring fat bodies for an activity that thinner one can do is bad. But some forms are censoring aren't.

For example, when the news is reporting on a gruesome situation, they might sensor the really graphic things. Minors' names are usually censored to protect their anonymity. Also hate speech tends to be sensored.

Context is important.

Why are so many discussions getting locked?

Sure, many people here are unable to understand proper argumentation, and many are doing childish ad-hominem attacks instead of presenting counter arguments, but it seems the moderators are clamping down harder and harder nowadays?

Even worse, the posts that COULD justify some moderator comment remain unacted upon, while some other posts can end the thread, even if they are not very hostile or off topic.

Do other memebers here share this view?

Best I can understand it, it comes down to the moderator's judgement, how often they are paying attention to the forums, and if the thread has necroed.

I do know that lately admin has been more vigilient since years past.

Two things can happen to a thread: getting locked or deleted. Getting locked is more common than getting deleted.

A mod will have to provide further insight, but from what I've seen, the following are the most likely to get locked or deleted:

Soliciting users for money
Scams/spam
Harrassment, especially towards one user
Dogpiling, especially towards one user
Any thread where emotions are high
Post containing blatant bigotry (e.g. racism, sexism, agism, homophobia)
Posts soliciting advice on secret feedings
Posts bashing FF or admin

There might be more, but this is what I can recall witnessing. I know that you can also report a thread to admin. If they deem it necessarly, they will lock it.

Gaining with high blood pressure

I recently had a check up and found out my blood pressure is high , i was wondering if there are any helpful ways to lower it while still gaining or if that is just a pipe dream. Im still very much not done getting fatter but id also prefer not to stroke out. For you real big folks how do you deal with this issue?

Short answer is yes, but your milage may vary.

Some people are saying that you can take medicine and keep trucking. This isn't necessarily true. A poor diet and lifestyle can aggravate the issue over time - especially if your blood pressure isn't that high.

I'm not anti-medicine, but if you can avoid needing it, it's better for you.

If your blood pressure isn't all that high or is under control with medication, you can still gain safely. However, you'll need to switch up your diet and exercise more. It won't be as fast as chugging butter, but it's more sustainable.

For example, avocados, unsalted nuts, and high fat fish like salmon are good for weight gain. Limit or avoid foods with hydrogenated ingredients. And, most importantly, read the nutrition labels.

A lot of people don't pay attention to what they are eating. Take salt, for example. A lot of foods have more salt than people realize - even foods with no added salt. And even if you are eating something low in salt, it muliplies by the serving.

Now, if your blood pressure is out of control, focus on getting it under control before you try to do anything else. Better to delay your gains than to get too sick to gain.

Best place to go for (cheap) clothes for button popping?

Feeder (kind of)/FA with a partner who loves to stuff/bloat, and also loves the idea of button popping.

I'm thinking of places, like both online and physical stores. Location is IL, Chicago Area (which is a big area, so I'm not doxxing myself lol). Shirts or pants, honestly (though I kinda like shirt option more).

If you have a particular shirt/pair of pants to share, please do!

I think I just need to get a few individuals' options and opinions, rather than trying to go out in this overwhelming world of options.

That's why such a voting system can't be put in place. You can still "vote" fake by reporting a profile. While that's not a guarantee of removal, the odds are very good if the profile is a scammer.

I do miss the maps, but I would guess whatever API was used broke, and an appropriate replacement was never identified.

You're right about the clique thing. While I've never been a target of such a thing, I've seen it happen to other people. You'd be surprised how organized people can get when they have a common target.

It can happen to any one for any reason, but the most common reason is feedee/gainer content creators who refused men's advances. If you truly believe a profile is fake, it's best to email admin and let them deal with it.

You don't know anything about pregnancy, do you?

Because while most women experience breast growth while pregnant, your milage will vary and most of the size won't stay after your hormones go back to normal. The amount of weight you gain will also vary. Some women don't gain very much while some gain a lot.

Between that and the stuggles of pregnancy, childbirth, and being a parent, I wouldn't imagine most people want to get pregnant for the body changes. Some might look forward to the weight gain or boob growth, but that's secondary to why they want to be pregnant.

And if you want to be a legal surrogate you have to have at least one child of your own. I am emphasizing legal because if you decide to be a surrogate without the proper legal protections, you can easily end up in a situation that you don't want to be in.

I do have loads of official medical journal sources too, but not handy. The basic dynamic is blood becomes too acidic because of our diet, and cholesterol is produced as a sort of bandaid to avoid the acid blood eating away at our blood veins. So cholesterol is caught up in plaque and clots. But these largely firm from calcium deposits. The calcium is leached from your bones to add basic oh to the acid to neutralize it. This is a big reason for osteoporosis. Cutting cholesterol down is a key reason why so many middle aged people have low hormones and get hormone replacement therapy much more in the last 29 years or so. I happened to be at a good fats conference when too high cholesterol numbers were dropped down to a level doctors there (MDs) shared among themselves they feared was too low.

Medical literature has many articles on how many small subcutaneous fat (soft surface fat) cells actually protect against some cancers, and do not contribute to metabolic problems. Especially in lower body fat, but also in breasts. Large, more filled cells do cause metabolic problems. Visceral fat (hard belly fat) is the type which causes the most metabolic problems. However if you lose weight or yo-yo, visceral fat burns away faster than subcutaneous fat. Visceral fat is higher metabolic fat. So you can get rid of a bunch of it by eating healthier, exercising, and losing it preferentially. While still carrying a lot of subcutaneous fat.

It's why you see the paradox of seemingly healthy very heavy people.

Although I am not a healthcare professional,
medical literature search will back up what I'm saying in detail. I did that research before gaining after seeing a number of highly informed posts and comments here on FF in April 2021 about why heavy cream is a healthy way to gain.

I would like to see the medical sources you referenced - especially the sources because not all medical studies are created equal. I usually try to post digestible sources, but if you have something that breaks down the studies, I would love to see them.

I would especially love to see your sources on blood acidity as food doesn't make your blood acidic. It makes your urine acidic. Under normal circumstances, the body is very good at maintaining homeostasis.

You are also wrong about cholesterol. We need cholesterol to build cell membranes, make hormones, bile acid, and help our metabolisms function. But not all cholesterol is created equal and it is possible to overdo it.

Also, I am not saying that heavy cream is the devil. I am saying to be mindful of your consumption as over-consumption may cause unintended consequences. And if you are going for a muscular body with a squishy belly, heavy cream is best used as a calorie supplement.

And I should know because I am an ex-gainer turned feeder who is muscular and studied biology in college.

Also, why are you using FF as a source? When I make posts, I cite my sources because I know FF isn't a good source of information. I have spent the past two years correcting dangerous and deadly information I've seen in these very forms. It's why I have so many posts. I have seen so many posts promoting habits that can land people in the hospital or kill them.

Actually the danger of saturated animal fats related to heart disease via cholesterol and "artery clogging" is outdated and incorrect info, despite the fact that it's still out there all over the place. Turns out in all people but the few with genetically super high cholesterol, cholesterol is actually there for protective reasons protecting the body from worse dangers. And cholesterol is the foundation of hormones. With too low cholesterol, not enough of various hormones may be made, which throws off the body and disregard it. So saturated fat is not the danger it once was considered to be. The all-cause mortality rate from too-low cholesterol is about the same as from too-high cholesterol.

And heavy cream does help make lovely soft subcutaneous fat. Which can be healthy and even protective as long as fat cells are small with more of them vs large with fewer of them. More recent metabolic research backs this up and is extensive. Just not touted. Puzzlingly.

As you can see here, the controversy around saturated fat isn't whether or not saturated fat doesn't raise your LDL cholesterol levels. The controversy is whether or not cutting it out of your diet is beneficial. A lot of nutrient-rich foods have saturated fat, and cutting them out of your diet it bad. So the general advice is to be mindful of your consumption.

Another thing to add is that heavy cream often has additives that, in high amounts, can mess up your internals. Common additives include carrageenan and sodium caseinate. Here's what both can do in high amounts:

Also, while there is evidence that saturated fat can encourage subcutaneous fat, how much it impacts you comes down to hormones and genetics.

Once again, use it as a calorie supplement. A lot of people report appetite loss when they consume a lot of heavy cream. Considering the sheer amount of macro and micro-nutrients you need to consume to get muscle gains, heavy cream is not a good source of those.
