I do get the occasional comment or message from an aspiring gainer. But most of my attention does tend to come from someone that wants to "get with me".

Yeah, it just feels harder sometimes. Most times I at least have my online friends to lean on but just lately few of them have been available. So I guess I'm feeling it more acutely now than I have in the past.

That's due to the author editing the summary. I had the same question myself a bit ago, added a new chapter and saw that it didn't "bump" so tried a couple other things. Changing as little as one character in the summary will "bump" an old story.
