A fat pill would be a good plot for a story. I have written stories a swimming pool causing rapid weight gain, but not a pill or pills. Great idea!

I shop at the exchange on the local Air Force Base. I'm now wearing the largest waist size available there in the men's section.

Patience, that's all I can say. I try not to post stories until sequels are done, so this doesn't happen to my readers, but I'm guilty of not updating quickly, sorry!

Wow, you are really over thinking this! It's your story, you make it whatever you want. Don't worry about if the "inciting" incident is real or imagined.
I've use incidents such as a co-ed comes home from college, she's gained weight, worries what her mother is going to say/think only to discover that her mother has gained a ton of weight and is now fat. Mom wants daughter to join her in being fat.
I have about sixty stories posted here, I had over one hundred and twenty on my old DA site. I write my stories for my enjoyment and I post them to share. I don't worry about, what is real or not, I just write what I imagine you should too! Good luck!

This forum post might be a bit fun, I have been a skinny person all of my life, and just recently, I have thought to give it a go and try to gain some weight! So I yearn for some positive things!
Now tell me, what is something you LOVED when you gained weight? Did you love how slow you were moving? Did you get more attention? I mean, even if it is small as being stuck in your car seat!

Looking in the mirror at my bulging belly is quite a turn on. I wear the smallest briefs I can fit into, the briefs accentuate how much weight I’ve gained. Taking a shower lathering up my belly.

Like what levels would you say these correspond to in terms of someone's weight? would you consider someone between 150-200lb as chubby or pudgy, or even thick maybe?
The description would have to be linked to their height/weight proportions. An example would be a chubby girl would be say five foot one inch and weigh one hundred and forty pounds. Another girl would be slim (not skinny) being five foot eight inches tall and weigh the same one hundred and forty pounds. A guy who is five foot seven and weighs two hundred pounds would be chunky. However a guy who is six foot two inches tall would be slim at two hundred pounds. The words you use to describe body type is up to you of course. Just keep your choices consistent, a guy who is five foot seven and weighs two hundred and thirty pounds would be fat, not chunky.

I would binge watch shows on various services, like Netflix. When a character says a certain word have her eat some more. Find a key word on each series/shows for a trigger to eat.

I kind of agree with your correspondent, however given how hard it is to down load stories to FF, I really appreciate stories that get to the point quickly. Introduce your characters, why they’re fat or not and why, then get moving.
I just posted a new story “Quarantine Gain”. I introduced the two main characters, started the plot (new neighbor is a fat guy) then added the minor characters as the plot progressed. I tend to write romantic WG stories, which are always positive (I.e. female gains for the guy and loves being fat). Write with thrift of words in mind. If you can say it in a sentence, don’t write a paragraph.
Just a few thoughts. I have written over a hundred stories, most all were on DA before I left there.

You might try deviant art. It’s a younger group using/posting. I got asked to RP quite often when had a profile page on DA.

I’m this day and age, I would add grocery delivery. On that note would a larger refrigerator and/or freezer be an option.
Of course some “eating into and out of clothes” would be fun!
