Morbidly A Beast:
I thought Barbie got married or something and got super religious and called feedism sinful maybe I’m thinking of a dif Barbie

I only know of one Barbie. Rumor has it that she found religion and left the community. However, I don't have any evidence proving or disproving it.

Mold-free hamburger/hotdog buns?

PurpleJade:
If I want to search this, all I get is search engine optimized and ai/gpt garbage. Articles telling me how to avoid mold, telling me things I already do actively.

I hope that here since food is a staple here maybe someone knows a good brand to get buns with a bit more preservatives. I can’t eat 8 hamburgers or 8 hotdogs a week from my grocery store visit, and anytime after a week I see mold.

With bread I don’t have this problem, sara lee honey wheat can sit for ages in my pantry, and I unfortunately can only purchase the sara lee artisinal buns and not restaurant style.

Letters And Numbers:
Freeze them and defrost when you need them.

(Or invite people over for cookouts)

Munchies:

If you are taking all the steps to avoid your food going bad and it still is, then freeze it.

Alternatively, buy the buns only when you plan to use them quickly. Use the Sarah Lee bread instead when it's just you.

All that said, I am curious about how quickly your buns are going bad and how you are preserving them. Because I've never experienced hot dog buns going bad so quickly.

NoMoYoYo:
I can't answer for the OP, but when I first moved out, the place I lived in was a breeding ground for mold.

I would buy a loaf of bread with an expiry date for 2 weeks later and it would be moldy within a few days.

I did freeze things after this happened a few times.

I lived in places that were like this. They were hot and humid. Usually, a dehumidifier can help with that. But idk if OP has already used it.

Eating healthier

NoMoYoYo:
After gaining about 65lbs in the last 9 months, I've finally hit a point that my body isn't happy with me.

I feel tired, sluggish etc.

I am about to change my strategy. I want to still gain, but in a much healthier way. i.e. less fast food.

I know what I've done to myself. I knew I'd reach this point. Surprised it took as long as it did.

Does anybody have any suggestions on how to keep gaining while being healthier?

Gaining is inherently risky. It's even riskier if you aren't doing what you need to do to mitigate said risks.

Focus on your health first. As my partner likes to say, you only have one health. Do what you gotta do to feel better. If you don't you can end up making things worse.

Once you feel better, then you can focus on gaining. I'm not going to tell you to lose weight. Just put it on the back burner for now.

Subcutaneous vs visceral fat

Danny823:
I’ve mentioned this on other posts, but I’ll say it again even though it’s controversial/unpopular. The best way to gain subcutaneous fat instead of visceral is exercise. Exercise generally burns visceral fat BEFORE subcutaneous fat. Even if you just hit the gym 3 times a week it’ll make a huge difference, and your weight gain will be much more soft and healthy. That’s the reason sumo wrestlers are so healthy, they have minimal visceral fat from exercising so much

Munchies:
I wouldn't say it's controversial so much as some (emphasis on some) feedists are afraid of exercise. They are scared that they'll lose weight, which is something they need to unpack.

Nyarlep:
Something you might find interesting is that at least from overlapping interactions with trans and feedist communities; some feedees/gainers seem to experience something akin to weight dysphoria where they feel uncomfortable being too small or afraid or slimming down at all. It’s not a 1to1 obviously but I’ve found the comparisons quite fascinating.

Munchies:
I'm aware of it. There are a lot trans feedists. I'm on the outside of all this, but I feel like it hits trans AMABs harder than trans AFABs. There's a fear of looking too masculine when you exercise. That said, there are ways to exercise - even not on HRT - that won't make you look more masculine.

And if you are on HRT (especially estrogen) exercise is important for maintaining your bone health.

MarieTrans:
I have to add, as a Trans person who also talks to tons of other trans people, I haven't met many who say this. Some of those who aren't feedees exercise to look more feminine like with their butt and stuff. The only person I can think of who was against any exercise at all was very extreme with her fetish.

We might hang around different people. I've met several trans women and other AMAB people who are scared to work out lest they end up looking masculine. I'm not saying all trans femmes are like this.

I have encountered several who aren't. I've met some who are like how you describe and some who want to look like Amazon warriors.

What's good on tv?

Munchies:
Thoughts on Lower Decks?

ILuvChubbyChix:
If you like Star Trek at all, and like Rick & Morty at all, it's a must watch. It seems to kind of combine them both together.

It's definitely funnier and more humorous than the other Star Trek series.

But if you don't like the kind of humor Rick & Morty has, maybe give it a pass.

Good to know. My friends love it, but I hadn't gotten around to watching it really. I like Star Trek, but I'm not fond of Rick and Morty.

No shade to anyone who like Rick and Morty. I'm just not a fan of that kind of humor.

Should i commit to gaining?

Hhhggg:
To be honest !
I would feather stay in shape you are in your twenties and girls your are very really go for big boys …
Because it’s more acepbel when you boyfriends gets fat and you stay with him because” you love him for how he is” that the same girl is backing 3 time a week and is rewarding big dinners with sex because it was a romantic night were you eat her share to is not in the picture!
Plus girls usually don’t care as much for looks so the change that you get a girl that loves you for how u are and Dienst mind if you gain is high … most girls actively into feeding guys have mutiple fattys on hand, they must feel like kid in a candy shop 😅
So my advise would be say thin find a girl that’s into it or just go around wihile being young

As a feeder in my 20s, I this is warped look at reality.

Some feeders do have multiple feedees. I was one of them for a time. However, many more have only one feedee at a time. Of those that have multiple feedees or playmates, it's because they are not in a romantic relationship with them.

Sorry, fellas. Poly female feeders aren't very common.

As for the looks department, it really depends on the woman. Some do, and some don't. There are feeders like myself who don't care so long as they have basic hygene while others have upper and/lower weight limits.

Should i commit to gaining?

MrRadishlegs:
Before this begins I'd like to say I understand it's common for people to dislike giving advice for someone they don't know at all and that is 100% rational and I do have an understanding that this at the end of the day is my decision but I really am in the middle on this.

Some background info: I'm a guy that can easily get fat but also can lose weight if I choose to. In the past year with the aid of my ex i went from 95kg(209lbs) to 120kg(260lbs), I got tons of stretch marks and I was happy about that and the weight gain but after the uni(college) break and break up(relationship) where i gained 10kg(22lbs) of the total a lot of my friends and family were telling me to slim down and due to my indifference( not due to judgement) for gaining or losing I started going to the gym and have lost a lot of fat and am at the point where if I continue to lose weight I'm going to need to buy new clothes.

I've always thought about fully committing on my own, and now that I'm single again I thought it could be the right time but have never had the nudge to just commit too it on my own, I'm mentally strong enough to not let friends and family sway my decisions if i were to truly commit but need someone to tell me to either slim down, commit( my goal would be a belly hang... +≈25kg(60lbs)) or stay where i am (109kg(240lbs)). I know where I'm posting this and the bias and irony is not lost on me and there is definitely a higher chance that people will tell me to gain weight then lose it but whatever.

Ps. Sorry for the long winded 'essay' and please let me know your thoughts no matter whether your telling me to gtfo the site or telling me to commit

Thanks in advance

Don't ask internet strangers what you should do with your body. This is something you need to decide for yourself. Making a list of pros and cons can help make it easier to decide.

Subcutaneous vs visceral fat

MarieTrans:
I don't go to the gym but I do get exercise, it's important for everyone to get some amount in whatever way

Yup. You don't gotta go to the gym to get exercise. You don't even need to by fancy equipment to do it either.

I remember growing up, my grandma would use cans as weights. My uncle would use us as dumbells.
