Bellies. smooth vs. hairy.

Munchies:
Ma'am, you probably have PCOS or idiopathic hirsutism. Fire your doctor. That doctor is too stupid to breathe.

ForeverFFA:
I mean that doctor did order the labs I needed (which came back fine). But yeah, it was sloppy to bring in an old wives' tale like that.

Glad your labs came back okay. 💖

Question about rapid gain/melted ice cream

FatAdmirerHeHeHeHa:
I’ve always wanted to try a huge overflow of calories for a week type thing, and I’ve heard a good way is melted cream and heavy cream. I am somebody whose body pretty much turns everything to fat but I also don’t want to waste calories.

Is there a good ratio of ice cream, heavy cream, and food calories that would make me gain as fast as possible if I were to go for it. Like a week challenge to just eat a ton, drink a melted ice cream heavy cream thing, sleep til lunch, rinse and repeat for a week.

Afterwards I’d probably go back to my normal life but I wanted to see thoughts and ideas before I’d try something like this and recommendations, please let me know!

Munchies:
Don't go too crazy with the melted ice cream. The sugar high and sugar crash will be insane.

FatAdmirerHeHeHeHa:
True that’s why the idea is just for the week if I am able to go through with it. To be honest, with as much sugar I used to eat I never really got sugar highs or crashes, well I never felt them anyway.

That's ... actually concerning. This means you were eating so much sugar that your body never had a chance to properly metabolize it all. This also means your pancreas was working overtime just to keep you alive.

And if you haven't had that much sugar in a while but go back to eating that way, you're going to make yourself sick. Your body has gotten used to producing less insulin, so going too crazy with the sugar will make you sick. I am not saying you're diabetic. But this would make anyone feel sick. Especially if you keep it up for a week.

If you have your heart set on melted ice cream and heavy cream, keep it to once a day on top of everything else you're eating.

I strongly recommend eating normal food on top of the shakes. Your body needs proper nutrition to function, and it will be hard for your body to regulate itself otherwise.

Had a feedee once who did something similar, but he did it with chocolate milk and heavy cream. He struggled to process everything and kept passing out. He was not a diabetic.

ForeverFFA:
Thank you for dispelling this misinformation. I recently saw a doctor who tried to convince me that I gave myself hirsutism from choosing to shave. Argh!

Bellies. smooth vs. hairy.

Morbidly A Beast:
hmm interesting for sure this explains the smoothness of expansive areas i tend to store fat, and newer parts of the overhang. I didn’t know.

Yup. On the flip side, as you lose weight, you might look hairier.

My partner has always been fuzzy. However, he's looking fuzzier since he's been losing weight. He hasn't grown more hair follicles. Instead, there's less space between them.

Has anybody had experience gaining completely healthily

Christina5464:
I made a post not long ago being in two minds about trying this out. I do love being slim, and I value health above all, so my diet is only natural foods with no junk, sweets or anything and I value local, organic food and exercise but I've always had this kink to but never gained any it is hard to handle at times. Has anybody ever felt similar and had experience with this?

Size does not equal health. Sure, there are some sizes that are unhealthy, but they are on the extreme ends.

If you eat clean, stay active, and see your doctor at least once a year, you'll be fine.

Most obesity related health issues do not come from your size so much as they come from what you eat and lack of movement.

Running is no longer possible

Blabl87:
Any other athletes here?

In the summer time, when the local swimming pools is open, I go swimming twice a week. Not for loosing weight but to stay fit and healthy. When the swimming pool closes, I go running instead. Since this autumn I realized it gets harder to finish my usual route (about 6km) due to
joint pains. Usually I just maintain my weight but I gained 2kg in the last 2 month and I feel I'm now exactly at the tipping point where I can't run anymore.

On the one hand, I want to continue running, on the other, I don't want to loose weight.
Hmm....

Bills225:
As a former athlete who got fat, I can relate. There were a few years where I didn’t run because I was afraid I couldn’t. Earlier this year I started running again, slowly and much shorter distances, but I was running. Even though I’m at my heaviest weight ever, running a couple times a week has helped me feel so much healthier. I also haven’t lost a pound.

It’s understandable why a lot of fat people don’t want to run and I’m not here to tell anyone what they should or shouldn’t do. But if you want to run, I’m just letting you know that it’s possible. Even if you’re obese.

Fat athletes are and have always been a thing. Sure, there might be some things that are harder to do when you are fat. But I know fat athletes that are in better shape than some people half their size will ever be.

Remember that size does not equal health or fitness.

Bellies. smooth vs. hairy.

Enas:
Thanks for posting that xD

Also something i was thinking:

Humans have a set amount (number) of hair. It doesn't change (at least not noticeably) with age or size. So that means that if their length remains more or less the same, then when the skin (that has a set number of them anyway) stretches, expands, the density of the hair drops a lot. So the bigger a belly gets, the less hairy it will look as it grows!

This is mostly correct. It is possible (common, even) to lose body hair with age. This is usually a sign of poor circulation or hormonal imbalance.

It's also possible to gain unwanted body hair as you gain due to hormonal imbalances. It doesn't change the number of follicles, but it makes the hair thicker and longer.

But yes. As your skin expands the less dense your body hair becomes.

Bellies. smooth vs. hairy.

Morbidly A Beast:
I’m a pretty hairy guy but one thing I notice as I put on weight is that the surface area of my body expands my hair doesn’t keep up as fast so I have areas where I’ve grown that are fleshy and smooth and older areas covered in hair. I will never shave my body hair that’s for certain it would be to much maintaince and also when you shave hair comes back thicker and denser

Fun fact! Shaving does not make your hair thicker or denser. Instead, the way your hair is cut gives the illusion that it's thicker and denser.

Normally, your hair tapers off towards the ends. Like so:

?v=1587561823

However, when you shave, you cut the hair where it is thickest. So, when it grows, it appears thicker:

That said, over time, normal wear and tear on your hair will give it that tapered look again.

Getting fat for someone special

OhHey:
This is my dream.
I always gain more weight when it's for someone I'm really into and have a great connection with.
For me gaining weight is intimate and I'd rather do it for someone I can develop a sustainable relationship with out of mutural trust, love, and respect.
Honestly those things make me put on weight more than any amount of stuffing or heavy cream 🥴😳

I guess I'm just a hopeless romantic.
But I find this is what works best and what I want in the future. If it's not like that I don't want it.

I hope you find that special someone, you guys have a happy, healthy relationship, and they fatten you to your ideal size.
