Do you have any travel tips for someone who's barely mobile?

The way cultures treat fat people is really baffling.

America is full of big people, but the default attitude seems to be cruelty. People go out of their way to hurt others, and justify it to themselves by saying it's all for "your health."

Whereas Japan is statistically one of the "skinniest" countries, but there's a sort of fat acceptance where if someone keeps getting bigger and bigger, people stop trying to get them to lose weight.

So TV spots about fat people in Japan actually become more positive. The tone isn't "This person is so miserable and ugly, let's improve them!"
But, "Can you believe how huge this person is? Wow!"

The result might seem like a "circus fat lady" scenario, but the result feels like they're showing off and celebrating obesity in a strange way. Certainly alien to America or Britain, despite their greater statistic population of big people.

The closest thing I've found is in Japan, actually!

Japan has an interesting attitude towards fat people. Men have a bit more leeway, but women are expected to be really skinny. But if a lady just keeps getting bigger and bigger, rather than getting upset at her, people just start to accept that she's a huge fatty. People want to be nice to her rather than scold or bully her... and they all assume the best way to be nice to a big fat girl is keep her well fed.

So despite being such a "skinny" country, Japan has an unexpected sort of fat acceptance. My wife was watching a variety TV program that was all about the dangers of weight-loss surgery.

I found another one that was just about trying to find the heaviest woman in Japan to see if a Judo master could pick her up. No narrative about a "crisis" or "obesity epidemic", no tragic framing. Just "wow, she's huge!"

I think media makes things seem bleaker than they are.

The simple truth is, there are a lot of fat people. Not all of them are miserable or ashamed. Or tragic stories, or people looking for a way to get "cured" or made "better." Just waiting for that little "boost" of someone who makes them feel happy about being big.

It's very mutual, back-and-forth.

She's always asking for help getting out of bed, getting unstuck from the bathtub, or demanding more ice cream. Boy she loves her sweets!

But I am the one who made her like this, so I'm not sure if either of us is strictly in charge. I feel dominating because I turned her into a shameless fatty whose life revolves more and more around just being huge and hungry. But she seems dominating in that I'm the one who has to do more and more for her.

As the proud feeder of an increasingly immobile lady, my feelings have evolved. From thinking of immobility as a tragic extreme, to something adorable I love.

When we started dating, she was already "thick", "big boned." I fantasized about making her helplessly obese, but thought it was unrealistic, and probably sad and tragic in real life.

But I told her that I liked how big she was, but wouldn't mind her getting bigger. She took that as a cue to just let go, and started swelling up. Getting so heavy and huge she started needing help with things, her lifestyle changing based around her own obesity.

At first I thought maybe things had gone too far, that I should kindly and subtly convince her to lose weight. But her health keeps being good, she's so happy and comfortable, she knows I want to fatten her up so there's no manipulation, and I found I really enjoy helping her out when she's too fat to do things on her own.

It's so cute when she asks me for help with things, and she laughs when she gets stuck in the bathtub or needs a couple tries getting out of bed.

I had a related fantasy recently that I like too- Jabba the Hutt is a massively fat woman!

Swelling and filling her palace in the midst of all her parties as she's constantly gorging herself. She's completely naked, but all her "bits" are covered up by her sheer obesity. Titanic gut hanging to the floor and covering up her "womanhood." Her breasts have turned into just another set of fat rolls, so her nipples are hidden as they've just "folded in" between her chub. Her attendants are constantly fanning her and cleaning her up. A lot of people would find it disgusting...but it's so lovely.

I like it when fat ladies are happy and kind, so in this fantasy Jabba decides to help the heroes, using her finance and power to help out. Leia stays thin... but she develops interesting feelings for the massive immobile queen of the underworld. "Soon you will learn to appreciate me," takes on a different tone.

Here's one that might actually come true soon, based on where my fatty's headed!

She goes in for an MRI scan. Nothing alarming, just a once-in-a-while checkup. But she's way too fat for any of the patient gowns they have, so she has to waddle in with the gown open, in her underwear with her watermelon breasts and all her folds of fat bouncing ahead of her.

The nurses have to help her heave all her bulk onto the bed. She's supposed to lift her arms over her head, but they're thicker and softer than water balloons full of pudding, and the nice patient nurses are struggling to find the right posture for her. Cooing and being reassuring the whole time.

"Don't worry, you're doing great!"

"No problem! We've had patients your size before... I think..."

THEN-
She gets stuck in the machine.
All the nurses surrounding her, grabbing endless handfuls of her obese body, trying to squeeze her out.

"Oh no! Are you okay? It's all right!"

She's panting heavily and whimpering slightly just from the struggle of being so massive...but completely fine and good-natured about it.

The staff make a special new appointment for her...

At a scanner for livestock!

Afterwards she immediately leaves for lunch, of course. She couldn't eat all day because of the scan so she's famished.

She immediately goes home exhausted, and calls her mom to tell her about how obese she is, and all her struggles at the hospital. While eating two entire boxes of cream puffs and popsicles. Then she falls asleep naked on the couch.

Wow yes, especially now that my feedee is getting so huge her rolls and folds are getting hotter and full of sweat. It's so slick and lubes her body up...but surprisingly odorless and delicate. Like jungle dew.

All of her fat sweat is getting important now that she's becoming too flabby and helpless to penetrate in a "normal" way.

Not me, but the woman I've been happily feeding since we started dating.

These moments would have been mortifying for a "normal" woman who's not a feedee, AND me if I were a schlub embarrassed by how fat my lady was getting. In fact, they read like tabloid stories about a huge fat woman and the embarrassing moments that Inspired Her to Lose Weight. Except she's very comfortable with her weight gain, and I'm so proud:

1. We went to a picnic with a lot of her childhood friends, who are very slim and all have young daughters. While she was eating, they all gathered around her and started laughing and joking as they grabbed her fat rolls and jiggled them. She started laughing with them. She's very kind and understanding, and realized they're not actually being mean. They've probably simply NEVER met a woman as obese as her in their lives! They were just having fun, and so was she.

2. Getting on an airplane, she couldn't wrap her pudgy arms around her own huge gut to buckle her seatbelt. A classically glamorous, model-like flight attendant noticed. She lifted my wife's big belly up and parted her rolls of fat to tuck the seatbelt in and buckle her. Then she sweetly said to my wife, "There we go, all better now!" and patted her on her tummy. Her response later: "The service was SO NICE on that flight!"
