I'm very sorry to hear that.
However, if you do come across scammers, please report them.
I would, but I’m not really sure I could call this person a scammer. More of a catfish… I guess? Although they might be who they claim but still just wasting my time.
Munchies:
Also, fill your profile out. Women who are worth your time are super choosy. If you don't have much to work off of, they might not talk to you.
Good luck
You’re absolutely right, I did have a more of a profile before but every time I got catfished* I removed a little bit more from my profile out of embarrassment at my nativity haha. What do you think people find most valuable on a profile? I’d rather not put my face right now, especially given what keeps happening 😅
*is it still called catfish if it’s a gay guy pretending to be a chick?
SYxySt2aR:
That sounds horrible. I'm really sorry that you've been through these bad experiences. I hope that future exchanges you have a more authentic and heal your heart and mind from the previous bad experiences. I know there are authentic and great people on here to talk to but yeah everyone's different so it can be hard to find the connection you're specifically looking for.
I wish you the very best and hope you find the interactions and connections you've been hoping to find. 😊
H203:
TYSM, I’m very grateful of the kind words. I honestly think I just didn’t make enough of an effort to put myself out there on this site, in recent years - I’ve got to take responsibility for my part in this.
It's still catfishing.
With that said, your profile should talk about your interests, what you are looking for, and maybe things you are NOT into.
Also, your forum and gainer profiles aren't helping your case either. You come off as depressed, insecure, and desperate. In other words, it's all the things a catfish could want.
