This is an interesting question, because I actually have a chart of my weight each month since I was born, so I can give you a rather accurate answer. And that answer is 463, meaning I have lost a documented 183 pounds in my lifetime. Of course, this doesn't include the periods of time when my weight would go up or down as much as ten pounds every other week. But there that is. I often wonder where I'd be if I had decided to continue gaining weight during the summer between eighth and ninth grades, when I dropped from 210 to an eventual 160.

I'm pretty sure Walter Becker played most of their guitar solos. The Fez and Kid Charlemagne are two that particularly come to mind.
Also, Frank Zappa is always something different. Check out his solos in Fifty-Fifty and Blessed Relief.

I count the lines in the sidewalks, and lines on parking lots, and stairs, and various other things I step over or upon, to be sure that both of my feet are receiving equal treatment.

I have no idea where I got it from. There aren't many fat people in my family, and most of them are dieters and lipophobes. But if it's not in my genetics, then where in my environment did it come from? I saw some fat people in my youth, I'm sure, but they were never presented to me in any particularly positive light. It seems there had to be something already in me that was only responding to the fat people around me, causing me to judge that I wanted to be like them. How does a six year-old child decide to gain weight? Only that it never felt like deciding, it's just how life felt to me.

I left 2009 at 18 lbs. heavier than I entered it, but considering my weight went down before it went up, I technically gained 30 lbs.
