What's the average rate of gain for people?

I'm in the 1-3lbs a week category. Sometimes a little more if I have the extra money. Side note, gaining is damn expensive lol. Anyway, I find I gain in spurts. For a week the scale won't change then it suddenly jumps like 5lbs and stays there. Then again, our bodies weight changes daily for all sorts of reasons. So scales can be hard to use as a way to judge weight gain. Unless it's over longer time frames.or on average.

120 and not getting any progress

Keep a food diary of what you eat everyday and how many calories you are eating and drinking. Our bodies burn 2000-2500+ calories on average each day just to exist. Then you need a surplus of 3500 calories to gain just 1lb of fat.
When I started I had barely any appetite. I made sure to eat relatively normal and make sure I hit the daily calories and then used heavy cream to add the extra to gain. It took a week or so to start getting used to it and to not have to white knuckle it thru every excess calorie. But eventually it happens. Just like people who are trying to lose weight, gaining is a slow and steady situation. It's a lifestyle change. With a food diary you can make sure you are eating enough and then can also see how much extra you're taking in each day and can add those up to see how much you'll gain and how long it will take. There are plenty of calorie and weight gain calculators online and apps. Even when you start gaining it takes 5-10lbs of fat to start noticing it. It will happen. Just keep at it. Good luck!

Actually feeling fat

I've felt the exact same. I went from about 140ish to now about 220. It took a decent gain to be noticeable and even more to actually start to look "fat". Even then it seems I'll need to gain a decent amount more to look and feel what my head is saying is "fat". It also takes quite a bit of time and a damn lot of food for a damn lot of time to gain anything. As someone who wasn't fat at the start, gaining has been as difficult and time consuming as a fat person trying to lose weight. Just different methods. At least imo.

How to gain 70 in record time.

I've gained almost 100 lbs in a relatively short amount of time. A bit over a year with some breaks in between. While I do eat more in general, my main way of gaining has been heavy cream. 1quart has 3500 calories. Which is basically 1lb of body fat if you digest it all and reach your, at least, 2000-2500 calorie daily need.

But, I've found gaining is much more a marathon rather than a sprint. Slow and steady wins the race. Just like losing weight you need to change your diet, habits, and lifestyle. Anyone can white knuckle it for a couple weeks. Stuff themselves silly and gain a few lbs. But for higher gains that stick around it takes time and patience. And money as Munchies said. All those calories cost adds up fast. A lot of factors go into it too. Way to many to list and most we have no control over. I've found keeping a food journal with calorie counts and a slowing ramping up of calories goes a long way in seeing that you are actually eating enough to gain and how much. Along with being able to stick with it for the long term. Or at least long enough where you can gain a noticeable amount. Small breaks from time to time also seem helpful. Best of luck!

How many people share this kink??

While I don't think there are tons (ha!) of us. I don't think we are as rare as we think. I think fans are much more common that feeder /feedees. Many people who prefer a partner with some meat on the bones, so to speak. Having said all that, I've met 1 other person in real life. A friend of mines wife. I noticed he gained a lot of weight since being with her. She must have noticed my wife being on the large side. Funny enough, the day of their wedding she asked me to drive their car back to their house with her in it. As my friend was driving the other car. She kinda started hinting how my friend was too skinny when they first met. I continued with how my wife was the same and we basically both figured out we both liked that our partners were larger and happy to have helped them get there. It never went farther than that. We have moved away a bit and other than a few Facebook posts or rare friend get together back home I don't see either of them much.

Taking double cream for 1 month

There are many factors that need to be taken into account, like Munchies said. Also, weight gain is a slow process. Your body can only digest so much so fast. To much cream all at once will make for an unhappy digestive system and a waste of calories. With heavy/double cream start off slow. See how your system takes it. Drink it throughout the day. I usually have it after eating. As you mentioned you need the base 2000-2500 calories everyday just to live. Doing some exercise would actually be good and helpful. Even an hour of exercise doesn't burn much. It's better for your overall health and won't affect your gaining much. Unless you do a lot of very rigorous workouts.
Doing all that, yes, heavy cream can add a ton of calories to your daily intake and result in surprising gains. It's singlehandedly what has helped me in all my gains. But the biggest thing to remember is it takes time. Even of your gaining a couple pounds a week it can take a bit to notice it. Best of luck!

Post grocery stuffing

I find reading weight gain stories males me want to go stuff myself silly, I'm already trying to gain. So reading a good story brings it all to the front of my mind. It's kinda like living out the story.

Weight differences

I've experienced most of the same. When my wife and I first met we were both skinny. She gained a little weight a couple years into our relationship. I then told her I loved the way she looked and even if she got bigger I'd love her that way too. I introduced her to the feeder/feedee/weight gain community. We even read stories together on the old Dimensions site.

She steadily gained over the years while I was still pretty much underweight. In the last few years she ballooned over 300 because of medication. But we were both totally fine with that.

Then in the last almost 2 years I've been gaining to catch up to her. It's something I've always wanted to experienced and she is happily helping me. As of now I'm about 215 and she is still a bit over 100 lbs heavier.

While our size difference hasn't been huge, it's been fun and exciting to experience us at different sizes and hopefully soon another same size. smiley

Any input on a high dairy diet to gain

I have used heavy cream almost exclusively to gain. I've never been a big eater. Which was most likely why I was a skinny 140ish before gaining. I'm now getting close to 220 and have increased my food intake a bit. The heavy cream on the other hand provides tons of calories for the price and is easy to either add to foods and drinks. Or just drink it straight. Which I do. It's work quite well. If you have any questions lemme know. Best of luck!

To what extent are feedees on here willing to risk their health for this fetish?

I've given this a lot of thought. Most of my life I've been underweight because of an incurable chronic illness I was born with. Now I am in my early 40s and after many surgeries my health has calmed down. I know that weight related health issues would only be worse the older I am. So I chose to give in and live out gaining as much as I can for as many years I can until my chronic health issues come out of remission and I end up losing weight again or I end up past my goal weight and develop health issues. I can handle some minor ones.

My wife is a big woman and we both enjoy and have enjoyed each other's weight gain. But, we have other things in life we enjoy and also want to be together as happy and healthy for as long as we can. So we've tried to have some balance. I know I definitely didn't want to go thru my whole life and never give gaining a try. I am trying to be as big as my wife. Which is about 300lbs. Which to me is big enough to enjoy the gaining and fat experience. But not to such an extreme that health is greatly affected. Also the weight could be lost, if needed. I know that all may sound a bit silly, but it seems to make sense in my head lol.
