wow, I have a colonoscopy on Thursday morning, and I know that there is a good chance that it will go well, but I can't help but be anxious and anguished despite this, lol 😁
Have you had a colonoscopy in the past?
How did it go?
HappyBigBelly:
Wow, you won’t believe this — but I’m having one Thursday morning as well. What are the chances, right? Just checking a box due to my age range now. I don’t expect any problems, but it’s gonna be rough not eating for two whole days!
Stockylove:
I laughed when I read your comment. What time do you have an appointment, for me it's 9am (French time) (it's better for me because the sooner I have this colonoscopy, the sooner it will be sorted out and I will be stressed for a shorter period of time, and I will be fasting for a shorter time)
But don't you have to eat for 2 days?😯
I just have to fast on Thursday morning, after the famous "preparation" the day before.
HappyBigBelly:
It’s in the mid morning hours here in the central time zone in the U.S. And by two whole days, I meant tomorrow and the day of the procedure. Thankfully, it’s still another week before Thanksgiving here in the states and I should be fine by then 👍
Ha cool 😁

Letters And Numbers:
Are you worried about the prep or the actual procedure?
Stockylove:
The procedure, I hope I don't wake up during the operation, because I know it's happened to people. I'm also worried about the outcome, I hope I don't have colon cancer.
Letters And Numbers:
So 1) you’re not having a colonoscopy for fun. You’re getting one because you’re elevated risk based on any number of factors. And if the doctor grabs something to biopsy, you want to know about it now not later and definitely not sweep it under the rug. The sooner you know about little things the easier it is to keep them from turning into bigger things.
2) anesthesiologists are pros. Don’t worry about waking up during it. If you do, there’s someone right there to adjust your dose. And you wake up from these things feeling like you just had the best sleep of your life. If the prep wasn’t an ordeal, I’d go get one every month!
3) the prep kinda sucks, unless you really love sitting on the toilet, I guess. But when it’s done you won’t have to do it again for years.
Yes absolutely, that's also why I want to do this colonoscopy as soon as possible. Finally, if the evening "preparation" is really the worst part, it reassures me a lot too.
Thank you 👍😉

You'll be fine. The worst thing about a colonoscopy is the prep. If you aren't worried about the prep, then there is no need to worry about the procedure.
It is highly unlikely you will wake up during the procedure. Such things are very rare since the anesthesiologist have been doing this for years. People that wake up during procedures tend to be more resistant to the medication. And even then that's rare because the anesthesiologist accounts for this.
That said, I hope you get a clean bill of health.
Phew, that reassures me to read that. Otherwise, my doctor told me that there was little chance that it was colon cancer, but zero risk does not exist. In addition, I have always had anxious and hypochandriac tendencies, so I know that it is a me who tends to worry about my health. But there you go, the anxiety is still a little there. But thank you, 😉👍

I have always been attracted to big people since birth. I feel like my brain is just wired that way, I am programmed to like "big" men. But when it comes to weight gain, I have a bit of an ambiguous relationship with it. I like big men, but I don't like them if they are too big or even obese, because when weight gain becomes too extreme, I know it can lead to serious health problems and even physical disabilities. I am more attracted to men who are similar to big rugby players (big but massive and muscular at the same time). I think there must be ways to gain weight in a healthy way without destroying your health and being athletic at the same time. I think I would feel too guilty if I had force-fed a fed and he found out he had serious health problems because of his weight gain and that I had contributed to it. I like feeding fat guys, and I have done it before. But for me, it should remain an occasional act and not something regular that could make him gain too much weight. I am turned on by men who have full bellies, who burp and who massage their bellies, not by gaining extra pounds. I have read very sordid and disturbing comments on grommr, from feedees who had sexual arousal to destroy their health and become handicapped by their obesity to the point of losing their physical autonomy and becoming dependent on others or their feeders, or comments from feeders who had sexual arousal to make the feedees fat, humiliate them and celebrate their first "heart attacks in the hospital" as if it were a birthday. In any case, weight gain is like all things, you have to know how to dose and be moderate I think. But I prefer not to take that risk. Especially for someone.
Munchies:
I feel like we feeders do not have this conversation enough. It's all about how fat you can make your feedee. Hardly anyone talks about the fear of hurting your feedee or the guilt that comes from a health scare.
Exactly.
