My dreams and desires have changed since i gave in

Munchies:

I had a feedee that was into extreme weight gain (like I am) and decided to get fat no matter the cost. Went from being a pretty chill guy to a man that pretty much worshipped the gains at all cost.

He was a pretty smart guy at first, but I noticed after he switched to a diet of heavy cream and fast foods, he got dumb real fast.

Biggerstudentbody:
I'm super curious to hear more about this...

Munchies:
What more is there to say than I already said?

Biggerstudentbody:
Just examples of what changed or what he did that led to a diagnosis of "getting dumb" I suppose. I can understand his physical abilities degrading as he put on weight but I suppose I don't understand his mental ones degrading so fast.

Munchies:
It makes perfect sense. You think and make decisions with your brain. Your brain is an organ that needs the proper nutrition to function. He wasn't getting that.

Remember, he was living off of heavy cream and fast food. These are not know for being bastions of nutritional wellbeing. On top of all that, too much fat in your diet can lead to nutritional malabsorption and too much sugar and/or salt causes brain fog.

And that's not even considering how he got addicted to rapid gaining. So he really wasn't making good decisions.

You might have noticed from my posts, but I'm a huge nerd. I like to learn, and I have a sizable repository of knowledge. My friends and family call me a walking encyclopedia. It was exciting when we first met because he could keep up with me mentally. We had a number of intellectually stimulating conversations.

It was great.

However, once he got hooked on rapid, intense gaining, it got harder and harder to hold a conversation with him about anything. The whit I'd admired was long gone, and I hated it. He also made a number of reckless decision that put him into precarious situations in his regular life.

I was scared for him. I tried to help him any way I could. I even tried to get him to eat better and go back to enjoying the things he used to enjoy. But nothing I did or said could get through to him.

So, eventually, I had to walk away.

Biggerstudentbody:
Thank you for elaborating. Sorry you had to go through all that.

It is what it is. But stuff like this is why I am a huge proponent of balancing your health with enjoying this fetish. I see post after post on FF deifying kink at the expense of all else. People destroy their lives and encourage others to do the same all in the name of this fetish.

It's terrifying to see.

I know that most of these people are like this out of ignorance which is why I can't help but say something. You can enjoy this fetish - even the extreme parts of it. But you don't have to throw away your quality of life to do it. It's all about finding your balance.

Are metal bed frames better?

SSBBW Summer:
Currently have a Divan bed as I've always been told they're good for heavier people, they've been great over the years, made from wood. However, I've actually heard that a steel or metal frame would actually be better. I've seen some that holds thousands of pounds. Has anyone had one of these frames before? Better than wood?

When I was a little girl, I often stayed with my grandparents because my parents where often away for work. Everyone had a bed with a metal frame. They took a lot of abuse from rowdy kids playing, but they held up just fine.

When I got older and my parents could finally settle down, my mom got me a wooden frame. This frame went through similar abuse and broke within a few months. My mom switched to metal frames and there were no more problems.

Other intuitive eaters?

ForeverFFA:
I've been doing it for four years now and honestly it's one of the best things I've ever done for myself. The only downside is that it took a lot of wind out of the sails of my fantasies to realize that most people with healthy metabolisms won't endlessly gain weight by eating whatever they want. But it also gave me new respect for how hard a lot of gainers must have to work to achieve their results.

Morbidly A Beast:
Some people have to work really hard for others they gain weight just looking at a cheeseburger just so happens I am in the later category not the former I think it’s cause my metabolism is so out of wack from cutting weight for all those years

The irony of restrictive eating is that it you can end up fatter than you planned.

Of course, I'm not advocating for restrictive eating to gain weight. Why restrict your eating, risk health issues, and be miserable when you can just enough food and be happy?

It's a no brainer for me.

Daily problem

Aset213:
So i've been tracking how much calories i eat on a daily for weeks now. I can safely say that im not even eating the average amount of calories (which by standards would be 2000).

Ive tried cream which has absolutely wrecked my stomach and i cant exactly make a shake either at the moment as i dont have a blender.

What should i do?

Casual Gainer:
Were you consuming the cream before or long after eating something else e.g. a meal?

I ask because when I consumed cream via ice cream milkshakes under these scenarios it went right through me.

I believe it. Heavy cream is a high-fat liquid filled with lactose. If you guzzle it down without eating anything else, your basically consuming a harsh laxative.

Other intuitive eaters?

ForeverFFA:
I was just curious if anyone else on this site who isn't actively gaining considers themselves an intuitive eater? I've noticed the way that calories, food/cravings, and how a body gains or loses weight are usually discussed here. This isn't meant as a criticism at all, but it seems like more people understand these concepts through the lens of standard dieting wisdom than not?

Morbidly A Beast:
I’m so removed from diets and stuff at this point but I saw a tik tok diet person do a tiktok where they said most people who intuitively eat don’t actually “intuitively eat” but they just eat whatever they want, which absolutely that’s how I operate, but if you’re trying to lose weight or maintain a calorie deficit she explained it better. It was funny because she did it in the context of a cookout and she had like 3 hot dogs and heaping pile of potato salad while the other her (her actually just eating moderately)

Still don’t know what Intuitive eating pertains to

ForeverFFA:
Lol. A lot of people on social media like to mock or distort intuitive eating, but the premise is that diets don't work or they take up too much mental energy to be worth it. It allows people to pursue health but requires them to drop preconceived notions of what that looks like. The point that this tiktok woman missed is that the goal is for people to listen to their bodies (which can be really hard in the beginning) and practice gentle nutrition.

Morbidly A Beast:
Here’s the video it was a YouTube short not a tik tok lol youtube.com/shorts/KaLFfBPP8SA

I do this. I didn't realize that I was doing this. But I switched over to intuitive eating when I stopped being a gainer.

Munchies:
What is a typical day of eating for you? What barriers do you face for eating more? What is your fitness level like?

Aset213:
I start my morning with a simple bowl a cereal and on some days (typically weekends) id make eggs and toast.
For lunch, i dont each much. Probably just some chips, a bottle of juice and my lunch.
Dinner is mostly stuff i cook but i only cook enough for a day or two.
Honestly activity is pretty light.
Aside from walking to bus stops thats pretty much it.

I dont know maybe it's just mentality. I've tried in the past to eat more but i end up nauseated. Even the thought alone of eating more just makes my apetite go out the window. I've never ate a lot growing up either so i only eat what i need.

Munchies:
When you say "eat more" do you mean eat bigger meals? Or do you mean eat more frequently?

Aset213:
In a sense, both.
I can't seem to do either

I normally recommend eating little and often, but if you've already done that, then I think there might be something medical going on with you.

If you can't eat more calories without feeling ill, gaining weight might not be for you. And that's okay. There are other ways to explore your weight gain fetish.
